He might - UPS has priority commitments & time deadlines for early AM overnight deliveries that trumps your iPhone's Worldwide Standard International package.

Story of my life. UPS usually comes to my house later in the day 3-4pm ish. I figured they must have priority commitments that trump residential deliveries.

Their facility is literally 5 mins away from me (an Olympian can throw a rock and hit their building) and the truck just started its route - has to drive past my house to get on its merry way. I continued tracking for a bit and they stopped by the local mall to deliver at stores there.

I’m not 100% sure not whether that is right or not because don’t you see in one of the photos there’s a little bit of the screen showing that is not covered on top ?

When I look at the entire phone it covered the phone the bottom portion by the top has a little bit of screen showing.

Well UPS just arrived and dropped off my wife's phone. Mine still shows nothing after the arrival scan to Louisville.

Question folks install the esr armor glass there seems to be a gap on the glass cover did I install it wrong or is it suppose to be like that?

Try WSKEN or DIMONCOAT or MRGLAS from Amazon. They should fit edge to edge fully and also come with a gasket that protects the earpiece from dust .

I chased the truck too lol. Guy was real nice and said new iPhone huh! Showed him ID and he let me sign for them no problem. Asked about delivery signatures and he said they are all requiring delivery signatures no exceptions in Atlanta. He also mentioned they were doing reattempts tomorrow (Saturday)

I am sitting at the office eagerly awaiting for my 9:45AM pick up time.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the local Apple Store so dead on a launch day. Obviously they will be steady throughout the day, but it is noticeabley tame this year

There was no one waiting outside to get in when we left the store!!!!!!!

If your phone is on 18.1 beta to set up your new phone you need to set up as new, update and then erase and restore/setup again correct?

I was waiting on my porch when I saw the UPS truck pull up. The driver seemed to take forever to come to my door. I told him "I'm really glad to see you today!" He chuckled, handed me my iPhone, and said "Go have fun!"

Still doing setup.


BTW, UPS scans now show "Out for delivery" as of 6:56 AM, so for some reason the scan showed up late. Take heart, those of you not seeing "Out for delivery".

My in-store pickup couldn't have gone smoother. Got there around 10:08 for a 10:15 pickup. I was in the story by 10:15, and out the door with my phone and a silicone case by 10:22.

Its here! About the restore from backup. Why am I in the shower? That is my dust control lab (steam shower) for the glass screen protector install. LOL
