Update- Didn't hear from the UPS center person, so I ended up going there, only about 30 minutes away, they didn't have it there either. Guy who helped me was not happy due to multiple iPhone packages not being delivered even though tracking had them going to destinations. There were also about 15 other people in my situation at the center. WTF is going on?!

If your new 16 hangs after completing the phone number xfer, try shutting down and restarting the xfer process. Seems several folks were reporting this on the Apple support forums. Happened to me and was able to resolve by rebooting.
 
Looks like mine won't arrive by 7pm.

UPS tracking shows it still is at the UPS hub since 6am.

Tomorrow will be picking up the phone at an Apple Store, have a nice lunch and enjoy the weekend.

I'll be sure to return it on their dime - whenever they get my pre-ordered phone delivered.

Apple pooped and messed this up 2 times in a row....

I already had both of our phones and my watch set up by the time UPS came today! Interesting that he was just going to leave the watch on the porch. I opened the door and said "I can't believe you're going to leave that" (nicely... i love my UPS guy!). he said nothing popped up for signature! YIKES! The one he delivered is being returned (the aluminum version... i changed my mind and wanted Ti which i picked up with the phones this morning.).

Now I need to read more of my VERY good book cuz I need to know what the heck is going on! lol!
 
Got mine and my wife’s all set up. Used phone to phone transfer on mine and iCloud back up on hers. Mine took about an hour and hers is still syncing. I don’t really see a difference in either honestly.

I always go caseless but decided to at least use a screen protector this time around since my 15 pros screen was pretty scratched. We put on the magic john ones and they are terrible. They have a thin black border around the edge that makes the bezel of the phone look bigger than it is and it actually covers stuff on the screen! I asked Amazon for a refund and ordered the new dbrand ones. Hopefully those a don’t have the black bezel or I’ll return that one too.

OK... i lied.... i'm not reading my book yet! lol!

so I really love the always on screen! very cool! i've liked it on my watch but this is the first on the phone for me!

so for whatever weird reason.... my watch that was being delivered never showed up on ups my choice and isn't even showing up as delivered on there!? weird! my amazon S&S that ups was to deliver today is showing and says delayed due to... weather!? what weather!? lol!

i had some real issues getting my old watches to sync.... finally got them! sheesh! now got to get hubby's ultra psyched to his new phone.. it's being a pain but i'll do it tomorrow!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the fuchsia apple case! so pretty and vibrant! i was over the ballet pink i had on my 13!

it's amazing how a couple millimeters really does make a different on the watch! i'm so glad i blew the extra $300 for the Ti after all... but actually for the sapphire face! (i was saying how nice it was to be on our way home after picking up our phones and watch after snagging an 8am watch slot this a.m.... and hubby said "ya it only cost us $100".... i'm like "ya... no.... it cost more than that"... meaning the difference in cost of aluminum and Ti! lol!).

Called Apple and they said the whole transaction is complete and I quote she said the words I promise you won’t be charged for anything I said I was confirming my status of the payment cause I’ve had issues in the past

Well Apple took my money, charged for my 1st installment on my Apple Card.

Haven't had it delivered as promised.

Apple really dropped the ball - again....

Correction: I’m getting my non-Apple product tomorrow. The iPhone will likely be returned to sender. They didn’t come until after 7 today and I won’t be home all day again until next Friday. They said it’s restricted from allowing any option other than return to sender.

I can’t pick up from the Apple Store because it’s tied to my AT&T upgrade. I also can’t go get my watch tomorrow because I have to be here to sign for the other package. (Apple Store is 2 hour drive roundtrip)

My “Christmas” is officially ruined.

ETA: I was able to locate the person whose packages they left on Nextdoor. She was very grateful because UPS wasn’t very helpful.

Quoting myself and I know no one cares LOL but mine still hasn't delivered and it's 6:30pm. 😭 At this point I could have gone on my lunch break or after work and got the phone faster (I work from home and live close to 2 Apple stores).

It's still out for delivery so I'm also kinda stuck at home waiting for it, I wanted to run some errands before dinner.

Note to self: do not choose delivery again.

Yup, same, Apple messed up 2 times (14+ and now 16 Pro).

I am really starting to hate Apple - they deserve poops.
