This forum isn’t about one specific person or a “few folks” that are here or arent. It’s about the general love anyone has for anything iPhone. It’s been this way for years and years. :):)

this was the first year an Apple Event left me disappointed and not as excited.

No Ultra 3 so another year w my Ultra 2.
No AirPods Max 2 after 4 years with my pair and dealing w replacements for the condensation issue.
AirPods 4 have 4 hours of battery life compared to the 6 hours on my 3rd gen, plus they look smaller so will not fit in my ear well like the 2s did not either. The bulbous shape of the 3rd get fit me well. 4th gen case lost MagSafe too.
iPhone 16 Pro has no screen tech improvements, no front camera improvement, no telephoto improvement. Same design as the 12 Pro.
Really hard to be excited overall. still buying the new 16 Pro tho lol iUP

No telephoto improvement? We’re going from 3x optical to 5x. May not be the highest optical out there, but it’s an improvement.

Longer battery life as well which will be nice as my 14 Pro has been dying fast lately (prob a beta issue though)

I currently have a 15 Pro Max so I've had the 5x and more battery life. Switching to a 16 Pro is a downgrade in terms of battery and the camera is identical. So for my situation nothing to look forward to with those 2 categories.

256gb 16 Pro Max Titanium and handing down my 256gb 15 PM to my sister. I handed down the 14 PM last year to her but taking it back and selling it. Got screwed last year pre order since Apple gift card system was broke. 2 week delay from launch day because of that issue. Not this time, Apple Pay locked and loaded!

So excited for the pre-order! Does anyone know how we can pre-sign in to apple via the web? I am signed in via my app, but I want to make sure I am already signed in and ready to go on my Mac as well!

It’s the one thing I enjoy doing once a year. I upgrade my watch yearly as well but, not this time. I already have the Ultra 2 and nothing changed. 🤷‍♂️ I will admit though, this is one year that is not really exciting at all if you have a 15 PM. It’s just a more refined 15 PM hence, S year update. Yeah, wow it’s really dead this year in here. Never been like this before.

Have you gone through their process? I just checked the value of mine. It’s not new in the box so I won’t be getting $750. It was $560. And even that will depend if they don’t pick on the light scratch on my screen.

Depending on your circumstances that MIGHT be a better offer. But for many people it won’t be. Certainly isn’t for me.

Sure have. Can highly recommend them and they are reputable. I have traded in phones and tablets through them and always have had a great experience. They are very prompt with payment as well.
 
Is it true you can’t hold it at a UPS Access Point anymore? I had issues with delivery a few years ago so I’m debating on that or picking it up from an Apple Store.
