Must be nice being able to wake up at a reasonable time to order! Best of luck to ya'll

Yeah, because for most of the pre-orders, those of us on the East Coast have had to either stay up until 3 a.m. to pre-order or hope that one of our 70 alarms wakes us up. 5 a.m. PST is more reasonable for the majority of people in the U.S.

Man I don’t know what’s going on last year I skipped and it’s been fine my 14 pro is going strong.

After the announcement I was really pumped about upgrading since this has a lot of features that I think I would like. But all of a sudden with order morning looming I’m getting cold feet.

I'm like that every year. But when the time comes, all of that goes out the window.

I was like this last night and today, but then two hours in these forums has me all into it again.

I like that! "pre-order eve"

Seems that way, cold feet is common, maybe that's why this pre-pre-order period is in place, to give people time to deal with buyer's remorse.

I've never had buyer's remorse, just the long two weeks of waiting and hoping that shipping and delivery go smoothly, and wondering if it's worth it in the end which it always is.

This. But isn't part of the apprehension tied into experiences during the pandemic and post-pandemic years? I spent weeks trying to track down that darn purple phone in 2021, nightmares! Tmobile stores were either closed or appointment only. From that point on I started buying directly from Apple. And for the most part it's been smooth sailing.

Anyone trying to preorder multiple phones? I got two set up but now it's saying it can't access my carrier info for 24 hours. One apple rep said I can only order 2, another person said I can order up to 10 so it must be on the carrier. Chatting with Verizon has been completely unhelpful

This year Apple now allows you to order at least 10 iPhones for pre-order. Carriers through Apple should allow you to purchase upgrades for all eligible lines on your account.

It appears your Carrier is limiting access to their system.

This is the first UPS driver who has refused to come to my front door so I doubt UPS has a policy about that. And when I reported this guy the high up person was angry and said that should never have happened.
No policy about walking to your front door just a limit on keeping the truck on the road. Again how long is your driveway? 300 - 1000 ft or longer.

Here we go again people! 16 Pro Max 256 Desert Titanium … see everyone at 5:01am PST tomorrow! 😎

This will babe my first time preordering from Apple. If you do ISPU is it guaranteed to be ready on the 20th? Also if I use my wife’s iPad and login to Apple Store with my account will it have saved my payment information(Apple card)?

I talked to various apple people. A couple said I could only order two and to try another apple id or device. Neither worked. One person who seemed knowledgeable said 10 devices. Verizon was clueless and mostly said the preorder is tomorrow. Oh well. Not sure it's worth doing two through apple

If you are trying to pre-order more than 2 iPhones from your Carrier by using the Apple Store. It still needs to connect to your Carrier to validate your number / account for each device.

What Carrier are you trying to use through Apple?

1) Guaranteed
2) Log in to the iPad, go to Settings > wallet and Apple Pay. Make sure the card you want to use tomorrow is listed and set as the default card. If it isn’t listed, add it. I would stay logged in until you place the order tomorrow.

Tell wifey you love her very much but, Apple.

My 🤬 new UPS driver refuses to walk or drive down my driveway to my door. The last time I ordered something from Apple even though Apple didn’t require a signature he did, so although I was sitting by my front door waiting, I got 2 sorry we missed you messages. On the 3rd day I had to chase him all over the neighborhood. He’s very nasty. We’re very rural here and the Apple Store and UPS store are far. Don’t know what I’m going to do to get my phone.
Buy from Best Buy in person or another store that has them? There are more options than ups (Apple.com) or Apple Store that might be a little more convenient for you. Or maybe have it shipped to a friend or family or whatever at an office location of some sort where they are less likely to just dip out without delivering. UPS doesn’t want to mess with missed business deliveries.

Here's a proofread version of your sentence:

Oof! I remember those days! Man! That was one of the things that pushed/motivated me to try the IUP (anecdotally it felt like their orders went through quickly but I may misremembering). The process overall appears to be more smoother now but not without hiccups but was way worse back then. Cant believe I had years when I would be up for 2-3 hours refreshing and reloading to give Apple my money

You need to call and report him. Don’t put up with someone not doing his or her job.

Will try both the app and internet site. Prior years app was better, last year internet site finally loaded after like 10 minutes. App never worked for me.

The drivers in my city pass by my house 3 or 4 times a day before they drop off my iPhone. Every iPhone I’ve had delivered always show up at or after 5 pm. But my case was delivered at 9 a.m. yesterday.

Yeah those were the days. The site and app would crash. Then you get halfway through and it crashes again. ThenBack to the start, then after the order is placed, the confirmation email doesn’t show up for hours.
