Those who are on iUP, if you saved your preorder and are not able to get a launch day delivery phone, do you have to start over on preorder day?

i ask because I have a meeting starting at the time the preorders start friday. I will be Multitasking but unsure how far I will get so if I get a phone with a later date hope I don’t have to start over.

If we are preorder ready on the IUP, do we need to unfreeze our credit for Citizens when we actually order ir is it just a soft pull since we are already preapproved by being preorder ready? Can’t remember when we get the email from Citizens and whether I need to unfreeze my credit. Hoping I don’t need to.

Set up a new iup plan because neither Apple nor Citizens could help. Shows payment at $31/month instead of $58. That’s great if it all goes through.

Ahhhh….the late summer chill is in the air and once again it is time for my favorite group of Apple nerds to unite!!!

This year is going to be a new one for me and maybe you all can help me out.

On Preorder Day, I am usually at home, on three devices, and refreshing like mad to get my order in. This year, both fortunately and unfortunately, I have a family trip planned and I will be in Germany for Preorder Day. I have setup my preorder already on the Apple app…so here is my question. Will I be able to access the store and complete the preorder from there? (Still delivering to my US home address) Or will I have to wait until I come home on Monday and then do it? And probably pushing my delivery past launch day…

Has anyone run into this in past years?

They do some checks on it and take it from you. They take it off the card - either one you used to buy or another

Fighting with Apple now. Remember the trade in canceled emails that were sent out in error? Nobody updated their records. Also had the phone replaced under Apple Care. Well no surprise the new serial number wasn’t added. It says the loan is not active yet they’re taking the money monthly.

This is a problem with IUP and getting the phone replaced under AppleCare. I don’t think it has to do with the trade in cancelled email.

I had my 13p replaced under AppleCare and when I attempted to do the iUP for the 14p, it said my phone was not enrolled. It was a pain, I had to email Tim Cook to get the executive team involved for a resolution.

Nahhhh, this is the easy week. Next week with all the which plane/wave/why am I stuck in Seoul?/have I made it to Anchorage yet?/am I gonna get left in Louisville?/why am I not on the truck?, etc. -- next week will be the long week.

I did the preorder for 16PM (trading 15PM) but weighing if it’s worth it (I know…real world problems 😂). I can save on the monthly finance, get a bigger screen and, crossing fingers, the phone won’t overheat as much as the 15PM. But still, not sure if I want to extend paying another year on a, still, good phone.
