Yeah, thats a rookie mistake. Gotta use the Apple Store app. It always loads first on those. Force close over and over and it will open. Sorry for the delay, but I'm sure you'll be fine. They haven't had crazy issues with getting one on launch day for years.
Order placed! iPhone still wating to load but ipad came online pretty quick. Very strange.
My order of airpods 4 anc and ip 16 as well as wife's blue 16 is placed and ready for pickup next Friday.

Done. Had to force close the app few times before the order screen showed up. I kept the app open on my second phone and that never went past the "please stay on this page" screen.
Also done. Was quick and painless (store app on iPad got to it, while Apple site on Mac Safari was still contemplating its navel).
Picked up last year, I felt it ruined a little bit, I think I prefer the wait, so I went with delivery. Plus I enjoy the tracking
Smooth sailing! Got in at 5:02. Got held up because my CC needed updating. I feel like this happens every year. I think it’s stored correctly for preorder- then bam, they need it again. Oh well. Made it through.

The first device that refreshed to the pre order page was my iMac. Secured launch day delivery! Still waiting on email confirmation.
The app on my iPhone always works best for me.
Done, PC went through before iPhone app...which meant I didn't get to use Apple Pay...which meant I had to type in my credit card since I didn't prepare for that....which meant I lost my 8:30 time slot...which means I'm now picking it up at 9:15 launch day.
All in all, not too shabby and better than years I recall pulling my hair out over all the issues. 😅

I got my order in - Pro Max, Black Titanium, 1TB. Sep 20 delivery!
Bummed though - did not give me the option to pay by Apple account, I had some money in there I wanted to use. Oh well. And no way to get it back out either :-(

Done ordered, had a bit of anxiety when it said it wanted me to update my shipping address and also default card wasn’t the default. But all good.
