I'll be out of town when it's released. I selected the latest store pickup I could. (the 22nd) Any idea how long the Apple Store will hold it? I won't be able to pick up until the 26th.

Changed billing name to my wife as well as her name for delivery. will this be an issue? First time using apple pay for whatever reason, it defaulted to her despite the apple pay name being in mine.

Had my ipad and phone both open the app at 5am. iPad opened first at 503. Got 256gb black iPhone pro 16 max. Smooth as can be for checkout.

Well that was annoying, it made me reenter my card details because I had my Apple Card set up for the iUP but it wouldn't let me use it.

I noticed this as well. Kinda shady on Apple’s part. I definitely put my Amex in when I was setting things up the other day - then when it opened this morning, it defaulted to the Apple Card and would have required me to re-enter my Amex if I wanted to use it.

Ordered a Black Titanium 512 Pro Max for myself and Desert Titanium 256 for my wife. Both launch day delivery to South Florida. I couldn't get into the store until 8:07 and thought I might be toast for launch day. LOL

Took so long to get in and then didn't save payment information delivery now says Sept 20-Oct 2. I hope it is one which ends up being the 20th. I know we see that a lot of years.

You have to go the iPhone section and add it to your bag like that! I didn’t see the option either doing the checkout through the saved preorder.

Website was quickest for me. Ordered 2 phones, was done by 8:06. Apparently though there was no need to get in right at the start, the store is still showing 9/20 delivery.

The "excited you're here" page on my Mac (which I got to by clicking the link form my pre-order setup email) automatically refreshed around 8:04 and then I proceeded through the last 3 steps. It had me sign in to my Apple account twice via TouchID, but went quickly and smoothly. I just had to update my phone number manually on the shipping page. Got my confirmation email at 8:07 AM EDT. 16 Pro Max 256 GB, delivers Friday, Sep. 20.
