I got the stay on this page so I left iPhone on it and used iPad to keep trying. Got in on iPad ordered and closed out, iPhone still showed stay on this page ….

yeah it opened up on website on my Mac using safari - ordered and had confirmation email and iPhone still had stay on this page...

Any ideas why I can't use my apple account balance?

No but I tried to use apple pay and it failed...twice. I tried to different cards in case the bank throught it was fraud.

App was quickest and came up first.
Had to put in a billing address which frankly they should have already had so that was a bit of stress.

Despite having placed a "test order" a few days ago, Apple still made me fill in my full payment and address details this morning. No idea why.

I still have a delivery date of next Friday. 👍

Is a signature still required for UPS delivery?

Yes. Even if Apple decides not to require it UPS will, at least here where I am. I don't know what happened to the ability to pre-sign that Apple used to offer. I have a secure locked location where UPS could leave it, they have the code.

In case anyone else has trouble ordering more than 2, I ended up going through Verizon.com instead. Process was very quick and easy. Just trying to beg for the activation fees to be removed now!

Had my pre order page saved for Apple Pay. Loaded it up and it was asking for payment information. Apple still can’t get it together. I still got one though manually having to put in my info. 👎 This year went way smoother than last year.

Done. 16 Pro White 512GB! Delivery Sept 20th. Both the web site and Apple Store app on my iPhone came up at the same time (I just left it on that page).

Order placed and confirmation email received by 7:03am (Central). I had my iPhone, iPad and Macbook all up on the store. Kept exiting out of the store on the iPad while the other 2 told me to wait until I could get in. Exiting out on the iPad and going back in repeatedly seemed to do the trick as I got in on that device and the other 2 never did anything but leave me on that "wait" screen.
