Wouldn’t worry about this one bit. Happened to me last year as well and then all the sudden I got the notice that it has been processed than shipped within just a short period of time. You’ll get it on the 20th. By the way, mine still in processing as well and I ordered mine at 8:02 AM EST.
It’s all software. Technically the 15pro is the first gen with it. We have a bit more horsepower to process things on device but the cloud will do the heavy lifting. I imagine over the next few years there will be chip improves for the phone to do it natively without a data centre.

For those worried about shipping status not changing — I once had a launch day iPhone quite literally arrive in KY on release day itself (like 2am?) and leave at 4am to be delivered to me in MA, and I got it in hand on release day around 9am.
The proof is that, if you were on Snapchat that day, they did one of those (global? US?) launch day stories that they used to do, and I was quite literally the first story on it opening my iPhone box with all my previously received accessories on the desk in the background.
Worry not, Apple logistics is very VERY robust. After that experience I’ve never doubted their logistics

It will remain in the processing status until it’s time for ISPU. The shipped status is for those who are having it delivered directly to them. Us ISPU people unfortunately just have to wait for that status switch in silence 🥲
Showing in my UPS my choice! On Apple it still says preparing to ship. So excited!
Normally I am with all of you tracking every movement of my phone. This year I had to do ISPU because I am traveling. I feel like I am missing out.

I had a charge on my Apple Card after I preordered that was equal to the tax on the iPhone and case. The charge dropped off a day or so ago, and now the tax on the case came back because the case has been shipped, but the charge on the iPhone did not come back. I don't have a tracking number yet and my confirmation time was 8:00AM. I am somewhat concerned, but the store says preparing to ship, so I'll try to be patient.
