I've had iPhones go through Hong Kong as well as Incheon before heading to Anchorage.

All scans are in their local timezones, so it gets confusing as they cross the International Date Line on their way to us.

BTW, don't be discouraged if your phones doesn't move for a couple days, maybe take as long as next Thursday, and still make it to your front door on Friday. You'll see a lot of panic and anxiety here and then "all" the Launch Day people get their phones on Friday. Curious what the actual number is, but pretty sure it's in the 99.99% range. Typhoons can change that stat, but I don't see any in the forecast.

If they do leave China soon, they'll sit unscanned in Louisville for some days, and still make it for Friday delivery.

I was reading the Preferences pane in my UPS app, it shows a lot of UPS Access Point locations in my area, and some stay open later than 7... . That should be interesting.

However, the old trick of picking up the phone at the UPS CC was awesome as I could go there after morning rush hour and have my phone many hours before the truck was anywhere near my neighborhood. It seems the Access Points would all have my delivery after the brown truck would have made it to my house.
 
Ok, going to sign off here and get some sleep. Hopefully when I wake up I will have a UPS tracking number. :) Fingers crossed!

Shipper is AI and delivery date is September 20th. It’s definitely the phone. Only other thing I ordered was the case for it and that shipped via FedEx a few hours ago.

Yeah, I'm hoping I can go to my local Verizon and just buy an unlocked one from them.

256gb desert titanium 16PM (Canadian order). Surprised they didn’t bulk ship them to an Ontario warehouse like past years.

I placed my order for a 16 Plus 512GB Pink at 5:06am but instead of purchasing outright, I opted to make monthly payment installments instead. I received emails confirming my loan was approved, my order was being processed, and will be arriving 9/20.

However it's still "processing" on the app and I haven't been charged yet. Is this unusual or will I still receive mine next Friday?
 
I ordered a 16 Pro Max 256GB, earlier when I checked it was still in processing, but now it's "Preparing to ship."

Yeah this is normal. My iPhone 16 pro already charged my card but my iPhone 16 hasn’t yet. It’ll get there on Friday if that’s what the date says

It’s not unusual for the order still being processed. If you don’t receive it on Friday, that would be unusual.

Last year was the last time you could have it held at the UPS CC for pickup. It just caused to many issues for Apple and UPS. You should still be able to redirect it in the UPS My Choices for a small fee to a UPS Retail store location. Just make sure you check their hours.

Thanks, I’ll still check it out (small town) but I think even holding for pickup packages they were going to start charging for? Idk, I’ll just take my chances I guess. Dr appointment can’t be changed though
 
Ordered at 6am, saw that my original order was already pushed back. The 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium (256 GB) would deliver on October 2-7. I checked the 512 GB Pro Max and in CA there were pick ups available on September 20th. I paid extra for the storage and earlier delivery date. It seems right since there’s literally a new button to take way more photos. I’m worried about first-gen apple intelligence though I would’ve waited for the iPhone 17 if I didn’t have a 12 Pro Max
