That's what the Apple people say, but I don't believe it, as much as I want to.
Here's the thing: AT&T's server updated my plan in 15-20 seconds. The iTunes server is taking the time now. And I know AT&T's good to go because my old IMEI in my old iPhone is not working.
Unless I don't understand something (hugely possible), this looks like Apple's snafu.
Exactly. It isn't AT&T's wrong doing here this time. AT&T had no problem updating the accounts when I was there this morning (@ the AT&T store). The problems were happening at the last step (when you connect to Apple's iTunes servers to "unbrick" the phone). I know that Apple is considered by most to be perfect but they completely blew this one. I love apple and its service but this is bad. In line for 3 hours and all i have to show for it is a bricked iPhone 3G.
This same thing is now happening at home so it isn't directly related to AT&T, its the iTunes servers.
