I want to know how loud it was in places with a dense amount of people
Hey I work in a building where everyone is issued a iPhone as a workphone, it was pretty loud already.
I want to know how loud it was in places with a dense amount of people
My Android shook like crazy, but no message showed anywhere. It's not an SMS. It's an entirely separate notification channel.
So the sound from the alert did not come out of the airpods max. Great for apple for doing that. I don't know if my soundcore Bluetooth earbuds would do the sane so I did not chance it.Well...that was annoying. Thankfully I was wearing AirPods Max throughout the entire thing, which isolated it to just one alert, and kept it quiet. Neato.
And y'all said I was gonna blow out my ears. 😂
Well, came through anyway, as I'm sure you found out. Stuff like this should not be optional. If a state issues an evacuation order, its delivery should not depend on whether some guy decided to "opt out".Good thing I turned off EVERYTHING under government alerts.
Sirens probably wake you up.And that helps you while you are sleeping how?
So Benadryl and McD somehow infiltrated the signal?Anyone itching or really hungry after the alert ☠️
Internet, TV and radio seem like enough.Well, came through anyway, as I'm sure you found out. Stuff like this should not be optional. If a state issues an evacuation order, its delivery should not depend on whether some guy decided to "opt out".
Indeed. I had my iPhone off when the test was supposed to happen. Fifteen minutes later, I turn the phone on, and despite the government alert settings being disabled:Apple decided that the settings actually mean nothing for this...
Incorrect. CONGRESS decided that users can't override this type of alert on a cell phone. It has nothing to do with Apple.Apple decided that the settings actually mean nothing for this...
Yes, I do have the right to opt out if I want to. This used to be a free country.Well, came through anyway, as I'm sure you found out. Stuff like this should not be optional. If a state issues an evacuation order, its delivery should not depend on whether some guy decided to "opt out".
And not the one device that most people have on them at all times? Sure, guy, that makes sense.Internet, TV and radio seem like enough.
Hahahahaha ok guy! Weird thing to go to the mat over, but you do you.Yes, I do have the right to opt out if I want to. This used to be a free country.
Did you get a message? I have it off too and my Android still vibrated like crazy, but I saw no message anywhereIndeed. I had my iPhone off when the test was supposed to happen. Fifteen minutes later, I turn the phone on, and despite the government alert settings being disabled:
*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!*
"AAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOHHH!!!"
What freedom was just taken from you?Yes, I do have the right to opt out if I want to. This used to be a free country.
CONGRESS needs to be fired. This is unacceptable. I have the right to opt out. They have no right to dictate this. Why even have the setting then? What other settings can be overridden?Incorrect. CONGRESS decided that users can't override this type of alert on a cell phone. It has nothing to do with Apple.
Happy birthdayThis is to alert everyone it’s my birthday, wow and only a few minutes after my birth time too! 😳🧐
You have the freedom to vote your rep out if they voted for thisCONGRESS needs to be fired. This is unacceptable. I have the right to opt out. They have no right to dictate this. Why even have the setting then? What other settings can be overridden?
So I guess you were in the dark about the last hurricane to hit Florida? Or heard nothing about Covid? There are plenty of means to get information. I doubt this is really necessary. And not the one device that most people have on them at all times? Sure, guy, that makes sense.
lmao, do you have the link?Someone on the Reddit Diabetes Subreddit said it showed on their Glucose Meter
