Which Model are you getting?

think apple used to sell the UltraFine range not these ergo ones. They only sell the XDR now and the stand for that alone costs more than this LG!
Damn! I think the thing preventing me from clicking "buy" (except potential black friday deals...) is the fact that I've never seen any of these monitors in person, and the Currys near me never had the range I want. Might just do it next week and not look at the page again (so I dont see if it's reduced by £100!) and can return it if the quality is meh. Nothing's going to be up to the standard of my iMac's screen!

Soo this has just happened!!

My heart has overtaken my head. There is no reason whatsoever I need the 14” Macbook Pro but since I was gifted a £300 Currys gift card I have treated myself to one.

It’s the base model as I really don’t need anything more than that as it will be used for light tasks.

Good going! The base is going to most likely be more powerful than any laptop you’ve owned

Cancelled my order for a base 14”/1TB with 30th Nov - 7th Dec eta last night and picked up a 14” 10/16/16/1TB in Silver today after work from the Norwich store. Looking forward to having a play.

Oh I'm all good with DHL just thought it might be useful for people still waiting to know the route through. DHL weirdly seem quite good in my area.

They were fine with me 13 pro too. I had a text at 7am the day of delivery with a timed 1 hour window and they arrived right in the middle of it

lots of orange now on the tracker! (live list here)

Just checked to see this update on my DHL tracking:

Processed at EAST MIDLANDS - UK: Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 20:48

Does this mean there is a chance it’ll be delivered tomorrow?

Yes hopefully. Usually they make their way to the local depot now overnight and then out for delivery tomorrow.

One work of caution that with my original BTO order, it sat in the midlands from early Friday morning and came Monday. The good thing about yours is that it’s been in the UK for a few hours already so should make progress for tomorrow.

Not yet! Picking the other one up from Norwich so it’s a weekend at the caravan

Not sure whether I can return the current MacBook to store as the website says I have to post it back. I’ll probably do a live chat tomorrow to see if I can

I returned my web order in store. They just take your web order number and issued back to original payment card

30 Nov - 7 Dec, still processing. But I have been charged.

14” 10/14/16 32GB 1TB Space Grey

Weird - I’ve been charged the total on my order confirmation email, which includes apple care, and another charge for £219, which is how much apple care costs separately.

They’ve just done the same to me - knocked it down from £450 to £270 saying the condition is poor, which is absolute horse apples.

@Roadster Lewis What did you do in the end?
It seems like they are doing that a lot... I have declined their offer and asked them to return my laptop. I'm dreading to see what state it is in...
There is now a reason that says it’s down to not including the charger - which I didn’t think it specified had to be included. Even still, knocking £180 off for that seems excessive.

Ooh that’s a stinger. I’l did include the charger, cable and all the original packaging which was in the garage.

Is there anything in their terms and conditions about including the charger? I don’t remember seeing anything on the “Sell Your Stuff” screens about it. I’d definitely challenge them.
I thought it did say to include the charger - although it also says that when they return your laptop they cannot guarantee that they will also return the charger.
what price do you get from MM now if you did a quote? if there's not much change and the only reason they docked money off was for a charger, then just get them to send it back and just send it off to them again with the charger. they cover postage so it would just be more of a wait if anything
Assuming mine come back in a saleable condition, I will be taking it somewhere else to sell - looking at reviews (before they are deleted) they seem to be pulling this stunt a lot. I would not want to run the gauntlet again.

Thanks. Yeah, I’m a bit worried that it might sit in the Midlands over the weekend, because Apple’s shipment email has delivery for Tuesday, and I have seen them overestimating by a day max. It’ll be awesome to have it delivered two working days before, but I’m a hopeful skeptic!

So mine still shows 9-16 even though apple support reckons it’s delayed. No idea what’s going on. No movement or card charges. I’m not mad if I have to wait an extra week, I just wish they would be clear (and actually tell me without me having to spend an hour on the phone today). Considering a load of people seem to be getting theirs a lot earlier than the estimates it’s a bit frustrating

Lol UPS changed my order from 19th -> 11th -> 17th -> 12th, but it also says it is in Korea so there is no way it's arriving tomorrow. Their logistics estimations are all over the place.
