Looks like some BTO MacBooks are now shipping so hopefully mine will soon. I ordered a BTO within a few minutes with an estimated date of 4-8th Nov.

I remember the last time I ordered a MacBook it came from Shanghai to Amsterdam, to somewhere in east Germany and then to East Midlands uk lol

That's some great info to know. Would have prefered DPD for delivery, but as long as it isn't thrown through a window (à la Hermes/Yodel) beggars cannot be choosers. Wonder when the supplier will start processing orders then...

Thank you for sharing this. Costco are a massive retailer and no stranger to supply channels. Sounds like everything is on order and some of us might have some good news this week hopefully.

I’ve now installed the DHL app in anticipation. :)
 
Just got tracking via the UPS app. 29th Oct apparently. Fingers crossed it will arrive before then. BTO 14" 32GB/1TB.

For those ordering from Costco are you not worried about the bad reviews on Trust Pilot regarding orders taking ages to process? Just asking as i have a delivery date for 12th - 19th of November and considering ordering from Costco if it will be quicker

Any thoughts/news on Amazon UK? I pre-ordered the higher tier 16” (M1 Max/32/32/1TB in SG). That’s now showing as ”out of stock”, which I hope means they only took as many pre-orders as they were confident they could fill.

Just patiently waiting for the email with my delivery date...
 
My BTO still showing as processing with 12th - 19th Nov estimate. Looking forward to the video reviews dropping later today. Hope everyone who secured launch delivery enjoys their machines. I take a step back from the forums when devices start landing in users hands. People tend to find issues and I'd rather not have my excitement for my new MBP ruined!

AO.com appear to have stock. I was going to order from them for delivery tomorrow but Costco was cheaper.

Wish I didn;t just look at Trustpilot. Great. Hopefully a lot of the issues are down to the suppliers they use for drop shipping and that the one they use for the new products are good. Also people only tend to review when they have bad experiences.

I'm a little worried. I usually do a cursory look on Trustpilot when I'm ordering online, but I've shopped at Costco before (not online) and therefore wasn't really worried. I am in two minds as to whether to cancel it AGAIN, order it from AO and just take the extra £150 on the chin.

Well im hopefully wrong on that and dbrose is right about people only posting if they have had a negative experience, i hope you get your deliveries soon!

I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Trustpilot reviews are a little concerning but people are generally faster to leave negative reviews than positive.

Also. They don’t seem to much visibility in Google. I mean do a search on MacBook Pro 2021. I see no mention of Costco anywhere in the results. Maybe they don’t invest in SEO. Perhaps they don’t want to scream about their discounts to the world. It might then follow that they don’t invest in teams to clean up online reviews. I have no doubt other retailers invest heavily in this.
 
If people lived by trustpilot and trusted reviews a lot of companies would be out of business.

Costco are a huge company so I made a calculated decision to order from them and it will arrive when it does. Not much they can mess up if it’s coming direct from a warehouse or shipping company.
