Morning all,
Looks like they've started to ship - I've just had a DPD notification for delivery tomorrow on the app for my base 14.

Mine has 26 Oct to 2 Nov and has not shifted (still being prepared). Some of the comments above sound much more promising.

29th - 2nd and been in "preparing to ship" since middle of last week. Payment still not taken from bank account. Come on Apple, I really need this! The mac mini I have "borrowed" is way underpowered and I need a laptop back.

Anyone with BTO getting any updated tracking info in the UK or are all these base spec?

Got my DPD notification and booked in for 10am tomorrow for my base model 16

Also last week I stumbled across the Pro Display XDR for £400 off at Costco, so having almost bought it several times I finally went for it...

Buying it through my business, getting the VAT back, offsetting my profits, and having years and years of use... that's how I'm trying to justify the cost at least!

I haven't ordered from Costco before, so I'm interested to see how you quickly those who have ordered their new MBP from Costco end up getting them. Its been in "Ready" status since I ordered on Thursday. Straight after I placed the order (after they'd setup my membership) the product page updated to Out of Stock, so I'm hoping I got the last one that was actually in stock, rather than them being ordered on demand. The page did say 5 days dispatch when I ordered, so I'm hopeful! ?

How do you check mate? I’m just seeing it all greyed out on the app.
Select the model you're after and on its product listing page there's a "Check in-store stock" button under it

Ordered via edustore in uk as soon as they listed the new MacBooks (21st), wanted 14 but with 32gb so had to settle for the 16 max at incredible price beating apples own student discount. Says it'll come within 36 days hoping sooner

Just a heads-up for anyone using the TheEduStore, be aware that if you want to change, cancel or return your item the process is a really not fit for purpose. I made an order for the base level MacBook pro and then needed to cancel the order as I needed to a different spec. They don’t have a phone number, only email, and take forever to respond to emails, if at all. They are owned by a parent company XMA, who I managed to find a phone no. to speak to you, but they don’t really want to help you as they say you have email theEduStore, and then you‘re stuck in a cycle. They also have no idea when they will be getting stock in at all, despite what their website says. I see similar complaints on Trustpilot.

So although theEduStore prices are better by over £100 than Apple’s education store pricing, for peace of mind and ease of cancelling / returning etc, I’d go with Apple every time now.

Congrats, that’s an insane monitor! Don’t you need to buy the stand separately for it tho?

Costco crew: Although the pending charge dropped off Amex yesterday, I can’t see the actual purchase. My available credit is 3,000 down which is my order price. I have seen this behaviour before.

What has happened in the past is that on day two the actual purchase charge appears. I’m hoping this is good news for us all and we are going to see movement really soon.

My BTO order from china to the UK has been picked up by DHL express - as mentioned before theyre using DHL. don’t expect any scans now until 3-4 days until it gets to the uk since apple uses the express breakbulk service.

Just got a text from DHL that my shipment from Apple is on its way. A build-to-order 14” with delivery slot of 8-11 Nov. Hoping for something slightly earlier but it is coming from Shanghai.

My payment charge has been pending since Friday and hasn't changed (no dropping off /etc.), Hopefully there is some movement today or tomorrow
