That’s not possible. According to UPS packages sorted at Cologne during the night are immediately dispatched to their destination countries through connecting flights. The sorting ends at 3am Cologne Time. There is absolutely no reason for the pallets to sit on Cologne’s tarmac until Sunday.

The only reason why it wouldn’t arrive in the UK by Friday morning, is if instead of flying it boards a lorry travelling through the EuroTunnel Channel. That would add substantial time to the delivery.

My guess is that despite the Macs are landing in the UK on Friday morning, the additional sorting time in the home country would add too much delay to actually deliver EOD.

Historically though, UPS seems to be able to ship from local airport to final destination in under 6h. This is what I’ve gathered looking at tracking screenshots of other users who ordered with Apple+UPS in the past.

We can only wait and see what happens today between 11pm uk time and 3am Cologne time, when the sorting ends and we get updated estimates.

Yesterday delivery times were updated at 11pm UK time. Which is exactly when the UPS plane usually lands in Cologne and the sorting starts.

Yes that’s my experience, if they’re coming to the UK today the.

I’ve had arrival scans around 6.30pm, import scans around 9.30pm and then departure scans midnight

I’ve decided to return my 16”

I’m going to wait until the higher specs hit the refurbished store I think! I like to hold my photos in full res and the 1TB isn’t cutting it.

My last one I got had the i9, 32gb ram, 2TB hard disk so I’m going to wait until these models hit with similar specs.

In the mean time I’m going to treat myself to a TB dock and monitor which I’ve been meaning to for a while.

Somethings bothering me about the current laptop and it’s a lot of money to not be happy with it.

Any way of tracking a likely DHL flight into the UK. Been stuck on 'picked up' since Tuesday :(

For stuff already in the UK (i.e. coming from Syncreon), what kind of time do they start 'Preparing to Ship' assuming it's going to arrive the following day?

For people who's delivery went from Friday to Monday, has any of yours changed back to Friday again??

Mines still saying Monday 1st even though it could be here tomorrow if everything goes smoothly.

not yet, still showing Monday for me... but remember that is "estimated" so anything can happen, in either direction :(

Aftership seems to think my package will be delivered tomorrow, not sure how they come up with that estimate...

Maybe when they get scanned in Germany later today or in the uk in the early hours if they get moved on straight away, we might get an updated delivery.
So looking at past flights, our plane lands in Germany around 6-7pm and the flight from Germany to East Midlands Airport lands in the UK around 2:30AM most times, I guess if everything works well then it could make it to your local depot in time for a Friday delivery

Currently near Mongolia!

Thanks for posting this link, I’ve never tracked a flight with an Apple order before!
Usually for me only UK tracking for launch day delivery, so this is unusual…
Still have hope for delivery tomorrow!!

After doing some digging, I've managed to find out that some DHL shipments landed at Leipzig this morning (from Hong Kong). They're being shipped on a pallet, with a "Master Airway Bill" so no individual package tracking will be updated until this is broken up. DHL are sure they will either be delivered tomorrow or Monday.
This is why DHL tracking doesn't update until the item is almost with you.

You legend. Love that we've got some DHL sleuths to contend with the UPS sleuths
