2.5 days since DHL “picked up” my MBP in Shanghai.

A lot of people there were expecting deliveries tomorrow which have been pushed to Friday. A lot of them also got the same ‘mechanical failure’ message so maybe our Friday items are still on the same plane!

Monday too for now. Some thought that it auto ticked over as there was not status update and it had hit midnight CET
Here’s some depressing math for you.
Planning to keep this mac for four years or more. I am paying ~3 quids per day. Given that I should have received it on day 1. This Monday delay is costing me around 21 pounds.
Multiply this by all the money I could make by using the machine. The value starts to become significant.

Keep it for 4 years and 7 days. Problem solved.
Seriously though, maybe find a bit of perspective.
Apple could compensate us all with a free cloth!
But given my original date was 4-8th Nov, it’s still 3 days early if it comes Monday
