Yep, I have a 1Z4 tracking number listed under "Carrier Tracking Number" and then under "Assigned Carrier" I have 'UPS'.
I go to the UPS website and it tells me all the details (like expected delivery on the 27th, and that it was in Shanghai at whatever time).

In fact earlier the APPLE website was giving me an estimated delivery date of the 30th, now it says.....

"Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 28 Oct 2008 (Subject to change)"

Also,

"Current Delivery Status Shipment dispatched"

Yeh, but it is confirmed by UPS saying the 27th (and I beleive them before I beleive Apple). Apple are just covering their back.
Subject to change in a good way, since as I say it went from the 30th to the 28th today.

when did yours ship again? mine shipped 23rd maybe yours was on a diff batch?

Had a tracking number instantaneously.
I think it is because mine appears to be coming "Fast" and all the way with UPS. Others seem to have multiple couriers meeting up for lunch somewhere in Europe or Asia.

the postoffice in china works 7days a week, as I know. Maybe the business-shipment works in weekends too.:rolleyes:
 
So i called the people at apple today, they said the reason i dont have any tracking numbers etc is because theyre waiting for my products to join together (my macbook and ipod nano). seems reasonable i guess.:apple:
 
Have to say its pretty disappointing if just because we have ordered iPods, we have no tracking details.

It's possible that all merged orders are via TNT and TNT are having problems with tracking, and straight through orders are UPS and UPS have sorted their tracking out.

Mine shipped on the 21st (3 days before yours) I have no tracking number, and have no idea when to expect my MacBook!

Mine went to Warsaw today, and now it's in Cologne ;). Following the MB's travels could possibly be more exciting than the MB itself :p....not. Scheduled delivery on the 28th, wahey :D
 
i can track the shipment, but i cant track where it is right now, because i have not received the carrier tracking no.

But normally how many days does it take from china to the destination country??

I called apple yesterday, and they said m MB is in china right now, and from there it will go to holland to get my ipod and then it will get shipped:mad:

Why did i order a ipod grrrr.....

A friend of mine (in the UK) bought an iMac from the online store a couple of months ago and Apple didn't give him any tracking details at all, it just turned up at his door about a week after he ordered it.

Apple took my money today, which suggests that they have perhaps posted (or at least are ready to post on Monday) my combined order of macbook, sleeve and ipod from the Netherlands.
