Has nothing to do with DHL. They havent received it from apple as of yet. Apple has just told DHL to expect the packages once they get to the Netherlands.

Yes, I realise that. But it was dispatched at 12:54 last Thursday. Just curious were has it been for nearly 4 days?

I've just spoken to Apple online support who told me to contact telephone support.
Telephone support has contacted DHL UK who told me they haven't got it and suggested the Apple help desk I was chatting to contact DHL Netherlands.
He then came back, told me he'd spoken to DHL Netherlands and that they say it's in transit between the Netherlands and the UK and that I'll recieve an email from DHL UK once it's landed in the country. He couldn't give me any more info than that.

On a side note, the Apple Store App on my phone shows 23rd - 25th Delivery. When I check my delivery from my computer it shows delivery on the 25th.

Thanks for that. So, should be in the UK today, it is only about an hours flight ( if that ). Maybe delivery tomorrow. Although the DHL website says mine has not reached Eindhoven yet.

I'd have thought from what I was told that yes, it should be in the UK today (according to Google it's a 1hr 10min flight from Eindhoven to London).
However, according to DHL mine hasn't landed in Eindhoven yet either..!

Just tracked it on Apple website. Says delivery’s Wednesday. Mind you, I would not be surprised to see it tomorrow.

Thanks that’s really useful. This morning I popped into my local EE store and they said that I should pair the new watch and I should get a chance to transfer the plan to the new watch and then just unpair the old watch. I just need my new ceramic to arrive now 🙂
FFS - EE just contradict themselves all the time. Talking to different people at EE I've been told:

unpair old watch and keep data plan

unpair old watch and remove data plan

pair new watch, transfer the plan (didn't say how) then unpair old watch

call them to cancel old watch plan, unpair old watch, pair new watch and set up plan as new (for £7 a month)

There's just no consistent advice from them

My guess would be they’re using the most cost effective shipping from factory to Eindhoven. Once it is with DHL, in Eindhoven it’s normally next working day delivery. So could get there as late as tomorrow and will still be on-time. :)

My experience:

Phone EE Sunday to say I have a new watch (in fact I DMd them on twitter as I couldn’t get through to anyone on Saturday and they set up a call back Sunday morning)
They took the EID and put in a request to transfer the plan over. Advised it could take 24 hours.
I unpaired my SS3 and selected “remove data plan”
I already had the SS5 paired so hit activate mobile data. It picked up the unused plan. I left the app with it saying “Activating...”

As before just checked the watch app on the phone and also by turning my phone off to ensure it picked up the data signal. My EE also still shows one watch line as before.

Thanks for sharing your experience. At some point, you had both watches paired to the same phone?

Thanks - just tried my luck again on 150 and managed to get a knowledgable tech support person.

I haven't paired the new S5 yet but he's updated the EID and told me to unpair my current S3 (removing the data plan) and then pair the new S5 and activate data in the normal way. He said everything should "just work" :)

Will try this when I get home...

My watch has been in Eindhoven since Saturday, however according to Apple it won’t be delivered until Thursday for some reason. My iPhone 11 (also ordered from Apple) is due to be delivered tomorrow, but still no dispatch information received.

Apple says 6th to 10th of October for mine (while it said 1st before) yet DHL says delivery by EoB tmrw.

I've just had a text from DHL to say that estimated delivery is Tuesday 24th. It's also updated on the DHL tracking page to Processed in Amsterdam.
Now just to see if I can change the delivery address in flight.
Nothing for me. Which airport is yours going to? Mine is going to East Midlands airport.

Well UPS attempted to deliver my watch this morning. I say attempted as there was no one home. I did get messages from them of the failed delivery and that they would attempt to deliver again tomorrow. I’ve called them and asked them to hold it at the depot as it’s just ten minutes walk from where I work. They said it would be ready for pickup at 6pm this evening but I finish work at 4.30pm so I’m just going to pick it up tomorrow.
