Really wanted the Trail Loop and will probably pick it up at some point, but my word this Alpine loop is beautiful super comfortable and it offers a great fit too (this is size small, my wrists are 160mm).

I was very concerned about how big it would look and feel but I was immediately fine with it. Very pleased!

I didn’t have time to swap my EE plan - I’ve tried read through posts since I left this morning - is it just easier to ring EE?

So I put mine on straight out the box at about 10:30. 89%. Now nearly 7 and 71%. Admittedly been in the car a lot (eldest to uni) but I’ll take that given I’m sure there will be the usual indexing going on…

Yeah, you have to read the EID off the back of the box and they move you over. I think I made it more complex by attempting backups/restores etc… just phone tech support and get them to do it their end

Anyone else having issues switching bands??? Ultra band (Ocean band) goes in nice and smooth - but all others I've tried (all official Apple and including a brand new midnight solo loop) were really hard to get in as kept getting caught on the middle piece of the 'connector'. Stainless steel link bracelet (Apple original) was a real challenge and extremely stiff!
Same. Even the Alpine loop but up a fight to come off. All the sport bands I tried have been fine though. This was also picked up by the Swedish guy on YT.

I'm still worried that the watch will be too big on my wrists.

Same here. Mine was delivered today but I’ve been at work all day and this evening I’ve headed straight to a concert. I probably won’t be able to open it and set it up until tomorrow.

Spoke to DPD, they confirmed this was a bad on their end, the driver's "proof" of unable to deliver was a black (blank) photo. But nothing they can do as apple "forbid" them to upgrade deliveries (eg. to send it back out tomorrow early). So it looks like they'll try again monday when I'm at work, and then flag two failed deliveries and send it back to apple :(

Has anyone noticed Apple are charging the wrong price for AppleCare+ for the Ultra?

Cost for the Ultra is £4.99, but when you head into the buy now it’s charging you £5.49 (which is the cost of Hermes)

Anyone taken this cover out and what did you pay?

I added apple care through the support app. And it said £5.49 initially but then £4.99 at checkout. Email confirmation says £4.99 a month.

So……

Is anyone going to dare sleeping with the Ultra on their wrist toniget?

Id probably knock my other half out, my arms flap about during sleep 😂
I’m considering it, but I don’t want to hit the wall or the bedside table…

Bugger, I did mine on the phone and it went through at £5.49
If one person got it for £4.99 and one at £5.49 then there is definitely a mistake with Apple

I think the real cost is £4.99 and the £5.49 is for the higher tier Hermes

@azing @Chunk72

I proceeded to do an order and it’s contradicting the costs, at top it’s £5.49

But total to pay is £4.99

Is this a chip already or is it just a play off the light?

@Chunk72 how did you put the order through? Does the email confirmation say £5.49?

Had a bit of a nightmare with EE. they/I had selected the wrong price plan on a different account... managed to fix that side of it but now im getting "there's been an error downloading the esim".. so I presume im going to have to give EE the EID or something..?

Yes I’ve had the confirmation emails and payment receipt showing for £5.49. When I made the order it showed £5.49 then £4.99 and the confirmed cost was £5.49.

I added the cover through the my devices link on the website.
