Looks very good, I'm thinking of picking up the same watch instead of waiting for the trail one, even though I wanted the trail one.
I have exactly 160mm wrists so I was wondering if I should go with small or medium. Is it still possible to to adjust the small strap larger or this is the max it can go?
There’s loads of room for adjustments. 5 loops left for me to tighten and probably 12 or so to make it longer. Really is a great strap.

I ordered AppleCare for my Ultra at the time of purchase on a rolling monthly. The order confirmation e-mail states £4.99 per month, but my card was charged £5.49 and the subscriptions area is showing renewal at £5.49 - nothing in the AppleCare Proof e-mail mentions the price.

I purchased a Medium in the Alpine but thinking I should have went for Large.

Only reason is the metal clasp hitting the watch case when I take off the watch. I need the full open loop to get it off over my hand. I need to remove it slowly / carefully so not to completely hit the clasp off the top of the case.

I can see the case over time getting marked by constant hitting :(

Anyone else have a little trouble getting the loop off and over their hand?

I had the same issue when ordering, medium or large - went medium. However, before I open the box I’ve just been into the Glasgow Apple Store to pick up an orange band, so I tried on an AWU with a medium band - I’ve made the correct choice going medium.

What size is your wrist mate?

Do you not feel it’s slightly awkward getting the band off over your hand?

Out of stock in the larger sizes in my local store unfortunately but they were willing to swap just the band

That’s good to know. I got the small alpine loop. I’ve not yet set up and tried the watch but if the band is too small I will swap it out for the medium. In the mean time I can always use one of my existing bands.

I’m 160mm, size 6 braided loop, and small is slightly too tight getting it over my hand so going to swap for medium

Just back from collecting the Green Alpine Loop (M) and Midnight Ocean Band and loving them both. Tried on a M strap in store just to check that I had adjustability both sides of where it catches naturally and worked well. Just waiting for the eSim transfer then all set. It's a nice size watch but then I've been used to Panerai's in the past. It probably appears larger than my AW6 as with the black case and screen it looks smaller.

My wrist is anywhere between 170 & 175 depending on temperature, and I seem to be able to get the band over my hand without issue, albeit I have to open it up quite far. Once it’s on, the clip is about halfway around my wrist. Have attached a couple of photos…..

Same for me but I’d rather it fits without too much extra band wrapping around my wrist. So I can sacrifice so the slightly more arduous task of putting it on. Personal preference 🙂

Having thought about it I think you’re right here.
Although the small for me is a little bit of effort getting it on having no overlap is really nice 👌
