My ultra was supposed to arrive from Apple between 24/10 and 31/10. Suddenly late Friday night I got a dispatch notification saying it would be delivered on Monday but I’m out of the country on holiday.
Now I find the idiots at DPD have delivered it yesterday afternoon and just stuck it in an unsecured box outside my house and remarked that I have received it.
I’m not back for a week and in a panic given it’s such an expensive item. Surely they aren’t supposed to do this![]()

Don’t live near family but thankfully one of my neighbours who isn’t in holiday (it’s the school holidays here) managed to retrieve it. Still livid though.I find deliver drivers hit and miss although most of the annoyances have come from Amazon deliveries. DPD shouldn’t really be doing that especially with such a high value item. That’s just ridiculous and not on. Do you not have a family member or a friend that can retrieve it for you and keep it safe.

I never even got an email to say it was being delivered on 15th instead I got one yesterday saying it would be delivered on 17th so had gone on DPD to try and rearrange it only to find out they had already ‘delivered’ it![]()
You may have an allergic reaction to it?Has anyone noticed a red small patch on their skin, after wearing the Watch?
Noticed it started getting a little uncomfortable, so removed it and had blotch of redness
It’s like small blister and raised skin a little

I hope not, odd why this is happening with the Ultra and not the Series 4 SS when I wore thatYou may have an allergic reaction to it?
I had this after wearing my ocean band. Small dots of broken skin. changed back to the trail loop and fine again. Dunno why, the strap wasn’t even where the red patch was.Has anyone noticed a red small patch on their skin, after wearing the Watch?

I've had this and It was caused by sweat on the back sensor. Give the watch a clean with some water and give your skin a day or two to recover then go back to normal!Has anyone noticed a red small patch on their skin, after wearing the Watch?

This! If I wear the watch for several days without cleaning the back then I get some tenderness and reddening from it, also I never wear the watch at night, I like getting some air to the wristI've had this and It was caused by sweat on the back sensor. Has anyone had any luck swapping the band?
I bought ultra with the alpine loop but I’m finding it a bit fiddly and can’t get the fit right.
If I want to swap the band have I got to change the whole thing?
Cheers
Think people have had mixed results and depends on the Apple store you go in.
There has been the odd report of someone being able to swap the band. That may just be down to luck though. In my personal experience and that of most I think is that Apple have nothing setup to swap just the band for the Ultra watches and the whole thing has to be swapped out. Apparently this doesn’t apply to the other models.
Thanks for the replies. I will pop in the store and see what they say, sadly there aren't any watches in stock in any store by me.No luck here swapping bands, Glasgow or Aberdeen both say no.
You have to buy a new watch and refund the old
I got away with the store just letting me swap the alpine loop and not the whole watch. I was sticking with the same band and colour, just a different size (went from M to L) so not sure if that made a difference.Has anyone had any luck swapping the band?

I returned my Alpine Loop Medium, and managed to bag the Black/Grey trial loop
There must have just been one left at Glasgow, as it went OOS right after
Drove up the road after a holiday visiting Legoland (Windsor), picked it up, then drove home to east coast Scotland

The inconsistency is crazy!I originally tried to do the same thing. I had mistakenly preordered the watch with the small Alpine loop and went to the Apple Store to swap just the band for the medium size but it was a no go. I was told I had to swap the whole watch. They had the watch in stock with the S/M blue/grey trail loop. While I prefer the black/grey one I decided to swap my watch for that one. I’ve preordered the black/grey Trail Loop separately.
I know how rare the black/grey are, and was so shocked to see availability in Glasgow and Aberdeen. That was pretty lucky. I wish they had it with black/grey Trail Loop when i exchanged mine with the orange Alpine Loop for the one with blue/grey Trail Loop. I guess I’ll just have to wait for my separate preorder for that one.
