UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

I've just told a lie above. I've just checked and I got a assigned courier now. UPS. Tracked it! It's in Tamworth with yours too. Being delivered tomorrow, YAY! Now to re-arrange my day/hope I'm here.
Just checked. Moved out of Tamworth to Manchester depot and now out for delivery already!
This is what you want to be seeing in your UPS tracker this morning. Unfortunately Apple had to give UPS a kick with the initiation of a tracer, but at least one day was lost (if it's successfully delivered today that is).

Mine left the Stoke depot this morning, out for delivery. I'm sitting at work staring out of the window waiting for the big brown van to arrive.
UPDATE: Just been delivered. Now have to wait until after work to un-box and set it up.

It's just been delivered! It may have to be an early dart from work today, I imagine. What with all the snow coming and all that

I am in London, UK. Is there a possibility of having the iMac delivered tomorrow? As Apple websites estimates the delivery date tomorrow but UPS on Monday, 21st Jan.
I've tried to see any paterns in previous posts but could not find anything.
Doubt it - more likely to be Monday now.
They seem to spend 24hrs in Germany, then fly over to the UK where they clear customs again.
Mine is due for delivery tomorrow according to UPS - Apple say today, but its still stuck in Koeln. UPS know better than apple

I would check posts over the past couple of pages if I were you. Lots of us had trouble with things getting stuck in Koeln, and it took apple to initiate a trace to unblock the pipe. UPS' tracking system is awful. Don't rely on it. Get on to Apple asap and ask them to put a tracer if you don't see any movement from Koeln soon

That's a shame - I was hoping to play with over the weekend Could you please keep us updated on the status? When you eventually get it delivered? Also try to call Apple as Confuzzzed has suggested.
Are you at home now to pick it up in case it arrives today?

I've ordered an iMac with 16Gb of RAM (before I learned that Apple RAM is very expensive)... anyway, given that non-Apple RAM is supposed to be a lot cheaper I'm thinking I can now afford the additional 16Gb to bring the machine up to 32Gb.
Advice please... where is the best place to buy 16Gb RAM - does anyone know exactly what I should be buying so I've got it here ready for insertion (machine due to arrive 22nd Jan!).
All advice gratefully received!

Assuming you've got the upgradable 27", depending how many DIMMs are in there already, you need a set of this:

If it's 4 x 4Gb you have installed, then you'll need 2 sets.
