Ordered on Dec 23rd. Still "Processing".
Called Apple today and they will investigate what happened to my order.
Really frustrating to see all those exact same configurations fly out of china but these orders where placed more than a week after mine. :(

My imac is landing on a Virgin flight from Shanghai to Heathrow in about 2 hours time having left the factory on Friday. Interestingly, Apple still have not taken payment for the machine. Have I got a free iMac??:eek:

Yes mine is on the same flight! Hopefully delivery in the next few days!

What did apple say about getting a replacement? How long to wait? Are you able to use the one you have at all while you wait?

I don't know the current returns procedure. The last time I had to swap a mac they sent me another without putting any charge on my card and then I sent the faulty one back. I had 2 for about a week

Sounds like it's on its way out of the factory...

Thanks now has been updated to

Shanghai, China 01/21/2013 8:57 P.M. Departure Scan

Is it possible to track the flight or to have more info beside the ones Ups gives out about it?

Dell was like that for me, I bought a rather large Dell printer from Ebay and it had a small crack on the back, so I phoned up Dell and rather send me a part sent a replacement on a pallet.

The TNT guy turned up and said I know nothing about a return, took Dell 3 months to sort out the return! I had two large colour workgroup printers in my small office.

Haha near enough at the same time too!

You guy's powered them up yet?

Has weather delayed my iMac?

My shipment has been stuck on Cologne airport for over a day when it should be coming to UK. Just noticed Apple status says "delayed"! Is it bad weather or just not scanned in by UPS?

Not powered mine up yet, had to go out in the end so will save it for later. At least ill know for sure it's 'warmed up' enough, if you do need to do so anyway.

The outer box didn't feel that cold, the actual imac one was a bit colder but the actual imac itself was freezing, could actually feel the cold coming off it on my desk!

Really quick pic I took just after putting it in place, excuse the dirty cup etc.. Lol

Looks massive next to the keyboard! :)

It is HUGE! Tbh, at work I have 4x24" monitors, so still not as much screen space as that, but should be much higher quality, and deffo be nice to use a proper keyboard and mouse at home.

My 13" MacBook was becoming unusable, not only because its a late 2006 so just old, but it was just too small and I don't need a laptop anymore :)

Hope everyone else waiting gets theirs soon! Hopefully the screen etc will all be ok when I do power it up, but that's another story, very impressed with the packing, and feel of it, just hopeful everything else is fine now!

Nice! Mine is still snowbound at EMA :( due to replace a 24-inch iMac that died on December 31st.

They send someone out to take the chipped one
I wait for a new one....

Won't let me change the spec as I've been thinking about i7 over i5

I'm gunna have to re box it and get it ready to collect. What . A . Faff

I think mine is stuck one step behind yours - in Cologne - perhaps the UPS flights are snowbound at EMA!?

EMA was closed yesterday, so the cargo flight from Edinburgh couldn't get there to collect my iMac. UPS tracking updates are quite poor. Yours may already be at EMA.
