I got mine today (ordered 13th) took 6 days to arrive.

yours seems slow :( did you order yours via apple?

Yh i ordered through the apple store, HE and loans but i dont understand why it would delay the order so long, and the customers service just say you have to wait no help at all

Mine's just changes status to "Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date" which is still Thursday.

Still no tracking info!

Wonder if I can sue Apple for my RSI induced pressing of F5?

They send someone out to take the chipped one
I wait for a new one....

Won't let me change the spec as I've been thinking about i7 over i5

I'm gunna have to re box it and get it ready to collect. What . A . Faff

When I discussed exchanging mine Apple offered to send the replacement and have me return the old one once the new iMac was setup.

I did tell them I didn't like to wait without a computer.

Im worried theres been no new scan since my order was confirmed on board? Is this normal guys? Mayb just a backlog at Heathrow with the snow

I tracked it on expeditors.com with the delivery ref starting in 82.

Normally it takes a few days to be delivered once its in the Uk from the other posts.

I don't know if this helps anyone but after you've had the machine a couple of hours it gets really boring and you're onto other stuff...

<pauses>

...I'm sooo lying...

But good grief, the learning curve... I had to ring a Mac owner to ask how you make it restart!

Thanks now has been updated to

Shanghai, China 01/21/2013 8:57 P.M. Departure Scan

Is it possible to track the flight or to have more info beside the ones Ups gives out about it?

On your Apple order page you have the track order button? Click it. The first of two entries listed is a tracking number that you should be able to use over at http://www.expeditors.com/

Give it a go... worked for me... it gives you an excrutiatingly confusing picture of your aircraft movements. Their destination won't be you though - it'll be to your land-based carrier e.g. UPS - Apple will update your tracking info page (linked from the 2nd number in their dropdown list - with a number you'll prob be able to use with UPS - that happens AFTER the airline delivers.

Then you get to watch UPS move it by mule from one sorting office to another until they announce it 'our for deliver' - then you know it's only hours away...

I hope that helps.

I'll watch this list a short while longer but officially I'm out of here after my very long (since Nov 30) wait for today's delivery.

Here's the pic... you can see the old PC pushed off to the sidelines!

'scuse the desk mess... wire-hell... that a new CD drive to the right... very slick - old PC still has a job to do as it's got all my MS Office stuff on it.

I'm just waiting on Adobe to process my subscription to Creative Suite (tip if you didn't know - you can subscribe to the whole CS thing for about £40 pm...)

I've installed Chrome, CuteFTP, Pages, my iTunes account and I've got email up and running... just wish I was that productive with my paying work? Which you're welcome to visit at www.gomango.co.uk :)

Looks like mine is coming tomorrow not Thursday!

In Transit: On Time

Scheduled Delivery:
Tuesday, 01/22/2013 and its sitting in Tamworth 35 miles away!

My friend who's a web developer suggested I did the same and £40 is a good deal.

He did it after years of hooky copys of adobe software.

Don't you get all the software for all the devices?

Mines showing in the UPS network now. :D:D

Mines showing "in transit on time" delivery Tuesday 22 January by end of day :D:D:D:D

Current location Tamworth.

With the Adobe package you get the complete suite - if you use a lot of it then the deal is a no-brainer - There are maybe 5 or 6 programmes I use regularly and they're the big one, Photoshop, InDesign etc... and yes... some(!) use of dodgy copies in the past - so the chance top go legit is welcome... but the full price of that stuff is very high, so the rental deal is very good, imho... it's all about level of use I guess...
