Waiting almost 11 weeks now. Ordered 21st Dec! :(

Apple are only interested in satisfying the North American market, the UK just gets the crumbs from the high table. Apple also know you are prepared to wait no matter how long it takes. Speaking for myself whatever the product I work on the principle that my money is just as good as the next persons so if a product isn't available when I want it then I will give that money to someone who can supply an alternative.

Preparing for dispatch today on my BTO 4th of Feb Order. :D

Can't wait now, expecting it on the 12th/13th looking at previous delivery times.

Got it yesterday!
Greece I think is the absolute last stop for Apple so I was prepared for a long wait. My optimistic predictions were aiming for end of March beginning of April. So you can imagine my shock when I got a call yesterday from the APR saying that my machine has arrived! Especially when a call with them last week showed no signs of things moving along.
Ordered on the 23rd of January, got it on the 6th of March.

I'm from Greece too and I haven't received my 14th Jan order yet. Can you please tell me your specs to your mac?

Sure! It's a 27" iMac, i7 3,4 GHz, 680MX 2GB, 1TB fusion drive and 8GB of RAM

Thanks. Mine is 27" iMac, i7 3,4 Ghz, 3TB Fusion, GTX 675MX.

The reseller is iStorm. Hope it gets here until next week because I can't wait anymore.

My estimated delivery dates have been bought forward as of this morning. :)

Was: 21st March - 4th April.
Now: 18th - 25th March.

Original post and BTO specs are here.

Waiting since Dec 5th, for a 27" 3TB fussion. More than 13 weeks.
Resellers are last in Apple's priorities.
This week Apple Store is considerably reducing delivery times for newly ordered equipments (even custom made).
I hope this fact speeds up all these delays.

Almost the same here except mine was 18th March - 2nd April and I'm now on 18th to 25th Match. The dispatched time frame also changed from 4-6 weeks to 1-2. I'd suggest that Apple might just be getting supply to a point where it can meet demand. Really going to be interesting to see what the next financial call shows on Mac sales numbers.

All that being said I'm now waiting for my traditional terrible luck to kick in on Apple products and am wondering whether to preemptively book a genius bar appointment now ;)

Yep, they are beyond last priorities. Someone on the Apple Reseller Support line did not refer to resellers as being a "lower priority", rather they wrapped it up in the euphemistic "longer lead time". As late-February customers have been receiving their orders, my early February order is still yet to be constructed, let alone shipped. The wait in Europe for many of you guys seems to have been interminable. I hope you all get them soon.

I'm sure this has been done before before a million times, but can someone point me in the right direction to track my imac?

Expeditors shows no data, and UPS aren't giving me any info either, not TNT.

I have the 825******1 number.

Thanks

My custom 3.4GHz 27" iMac was ordered on Feb 18. Yesterday my date changed to March 20-27. It's getting closer but it still seems to be longer than what a new customer would get if they ordered today (1-2 weeks). As mentioned in the other iMac order thread (February Orders of iMac 27"), Apple told me that they keep to the initial order queue and that new orders would be delivered after mine. I'll believe it when I see it.

Two Weeks

Ordered a custom 27" iMac today, 8 March. I'll post again when it ships.

The date range for your iMac is *delivered* not dispatched. If they're coming straight from China that can take a few days (I think the longest I've seen for transit on my own orders is around a week). At a guess I'd say you're probably looking at getting your unit about a week to a week and a half ahead of an order placed today which is right where it should be considering a 1-2 week lead time. Of course if it's a BTO model then it's possible a slightly different configuration would 'overtake' yours in the queue if they were missing a particular component for yours.

I am waiting since 30 November on the machine and I am afraid that there will be a new pope before I receive it (3TB fusion,i7,680MX,16GB). Ordered through premium reseller.

Oh man, I feel for you. I hope you manage to get it sorted soon. Did you never consider just cancelling and ordering from the official Apple Store? Good luck! :)

Waiting from 14.1 I have no idea why those resellers exist, and what is their idea.
No matter how you look ont it it's a joke.

Ordered a 27" iMac high spec on the 14th of Feb. and given est. delivery date of 19th March - 3rd April.
A couple of days ago it changed to 18th - 25th March.

Now just had a text & email informing me it has been dispatched for delivery by the 13th!!

Awesome!! :)

Finally arrived after exactly 11 weeks waiting. I ordered my BTO on the 21st Dec. It is amazing!!! Hope everyone else who is waiting a long time get theirs soon! :)
