I'm actually amazed at how quick my order has progressed. Genuinely impressed!

Ordered 3rd March
- Original delivery was 4-6 weeks

Got an update to 2-4 weeks, then a day later it changed to 1-2 weeks!

Today, I got an email saying its dispatched.

Should be here 14th March!

Plus it's a 27" 3TB fusion model, so I expected it to be much longer!!

Wow, that's fast! As I've mentioned, I ordered on Feb 18 and my date is currently sat at March 20-27. What makes this worse for me is that I'm originally from Preston, as I can see you are. It's slow here in Germany. :)

27" ordered Feb 6th, arrived last Friday.

It's a fantastic machine, so fast and quiet. It's actually better than the £3000 Mac Pro with Cinema Display I use at work.

Nice!

I ordered a 27" iMac on 12 Feb and it was estimated to arrive between 19 March - 03 April. I got an email on Saturday saying it has been dispatched and now my Apple account says "Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date."

I've not been provided with any courier information or received a text yet. Although, by estimate has been moved to 15 March, which is great news!

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question about delivery. Do you get an exact delivery date once it's been despatched?
I am not allowed to have things delivered at work so will need to be there at home when the iMac is delivered but obviously I can't do that unless I know the exact day. Do you get a specific date a few days before it arrives?

Thanks,

Hi, Yes you will know a few days in advance. Once UPS have it you can check there website which will give you the delivery date.

denmark:

ordered mine December 14 from the local store.. still haven't heard anything regarding delivery:mad:

My BTO 27" iMac arrived today, ordered 14th Feb.

Halfway through a 5 hour file migration, can't wait to have a good go on it. :)

I'll post the photos later but mine arrived today!!

9 days from ordering it arrived. So early I missed the delivery and went to collect from UPS.

It's amazing. Didn't realise how big 27" actually was... Turned it on (after bumping the RAM to 32GB) and just sat, jaw on the floor, taking it in!

Arrived safely :)

Mine too - it arrived yesterday (12th). Quick question in case anyone can help me. I've switched from Windows with a fast Logitech G5 mouse and am finding the Magic Mouse to be really slow. If I do sudden quick swipes it manages to move quickly across the 27" inch screen, but I'm finding it a real chore to do small movements where it seems to almost come to a standstill.

Is this just one of those things that's exaggerated by the switch from Windows and that I'll get used to, or is it a known issue with a workaround?

Any help you guys can give would be great.

from what i read, it will ship 4 days after the money disappears from your account. this is when using a debit card.

I am waiting since 30 November on the machine and I am afraid that there will be a new pope before I receive it (3TB fusion,i7,680MX,16GB). Ordered through premium reseller.

Done it! The Pope is here, but our iMacs not.
This is becoming kind of a bad joke. 14 weeks and still absolutely nothing!!

My custom 3.4GHz/8GB/1TB Fusion/680MX iMac was ordered on Feb 18. The status just this morning went to "Preparing for Dispatch". Hopefully it'll be sent soon. It's been pretty much 1 month on "Processing items".

My Feb 18 order went to "Preparing for Shipment" this morning and has just changed to "Dispatched". As it changed to dispatched, the estimated delivery date on the Apple Store was March 21 then minutes later it was March 22. I checked the tracking code with UPS and it's estimated to be delivered by the end of the day on March 20, haha - three different days in a few minutes. Either way, I'll keep tracking it and hopefully get a more accurate date soon. It's currently in Cork, Ireland.

My Feb 20th order today went to Preparing and then Dispatched. I paid the extra £8 for Express Delivery, not sure that makes any difference as the current estimate for the delivery is next Tuesday, the 19th.

Configuration:
27-inch iMac
3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
APPLE MAGIC TRACKPAD

We're pretty much at the same stage. I ordered a couple of days earlier than you, however, but it was also dispatched yesterday. I didn't realise you could pay for express delivery - was that on the checkout stage? As of 0200 this morning my iMac left Dublin. :)
