UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Mine says it is for delivery 17th (tomorrow) and still on time, but it is still in Germany according to UPS tracking. I'm taking the day off work, so do people reckon it will be here tomorrow?
will wait and see.. there is nothing we can do but wait.. but most of us have been waiting for over 8 month now for a new imac.. so my patience tolerance is very low now.. all the best to you all and merry xmas everyone
cheersMine is the same, and I'm starting to doubt whether it'll move on a Sunday at all. It still says on time for delivery tomorrow, and I'd prefer if it was tomorrow rather than Tuesday due to work commitments.
It's been in Koeln for too long, don't get it really. Someone mentioned they would try and call UPS, didn't hear back though.
I have a question. I called Apple Poland, and they told me that they can't change my standard shipping for express delivery. Is it true? Was she right? Should I call them again?
I am wondering if the tracking stopped working. I won't be happy if working from home tomorrow specially and it never turns up. I just can't see how, if it is still in Germany they could fly it out today even, get it to the regional distribution centre and on the truck by tomorrow morning.

I hope this is because they're finally getting round to shipping all the remaining orders that were placed on the 30th.
Never mind my iMac being held up in another country temporarily they haven't even started preparing mine for shipment yet!

I called them yesterday, but it didn't do much good. She said that your imac will fly to the nearest airport to where you live, which means they'll all start moving at different times I guess...
Other than that, she just said it will definately be there for Monday, (or whatever your delivery date is). I hope she's right

I ordered mine on 13th Dec, spoke to customer service today and they expect it to be delivered between 20th - 27th Dec. Thats quicker than I thought.
Tried to get a freebie but nothing was offered. How are you guys getting the freebies?

Well I ordered the 30th instantly. Paid right away and order is shipped. I will get mine in January too. So life isn't fair, just accept it
Just a few pointers, if you ordered anything else with your mac such as AppleCare it will go to the Hinckley (Leicester) hub to merge with the other items.
For those using expeditors to track your macs, when it is says estimated delivery date that the hand over from cargo to Apple again in the Uk..

I feel your pain, I should have gotten a MasterCard for buying this, as my visa wouldn't take this large an order, (my friend tried to tell me that I just have a bad bank and that his Stonecutters visa is much better) anyway, I also had to do bank transfer, and of course, banks still use big trucks to carry those bits and bytes between them, so after transferring the money on Friday the 30th, apple had the money on Tuesday (as fast as was possible) but it changed my order from processing in 2-3 weeks to 3-4 weeks, mine still says delivery by January 9th, so 24 days until Christmas, at least for me.
