UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

Well, not all the nov. 30 orders are shipped. It seems logical that they send them out first.

(But i'm afraid that is not true..)

I don't know mate. I ordered on the same day and my status regressed so not sure what to expect. Reading other people who ordered earlier than us, doesn't sound like it's more than 50% probability they'll all get theirs next week. But it is possible you may get yours on 27th or 28th Dec. Is it BTO and if so where is it delivering to?

Fair doos. I just thought with crucial doing it for £30 delivered and it was not used £20 (ish) would be cool. £40 no point as crucial is cheaper.

Ordered mine on the 10th (very late) so not expecting it till Mid-late January looking at the dates of people who ordered on the 3rd!

Would be interested to know how the guy who ordered on the 13th has already had his shipped though :confused:
 
Heads up to anyone who's been stuck on "Export Scan" for the past day or so - just got a Departure Scan within the past hour or so. Things are a'moving. (EDIT: Beaten to it...)

How sad are we..? ^_^;

I think it was standard issue entry level model, not BTO. That may have made a difference but I can't think how because my understanding is that the bottleneck is the screen yields rather than any other components, Build To Order or not...

Mines just a base one too, I don't have an immediate 'need' for one, but I brought a DSLR back in the summer and Photoshop is ridiculously slow on my 2006 Macbook (as expected as its so outdated) so still a huge upgrade for me!

I"ll have 8 GB available next week when I instal 32 GB on my iMac. Problem is I live in Thailand so there would be postage (registered) (? £3) and then about 2 weeks to get to you, especially over this period
So £23? OK?

My thinking was I'd personally rather have the ram fresh out of an imac and tested for that computer than the crucial value series. Also I thought crucial value was about £40 as I bought some not long ago, but as you've pointed out, it's £30 these days.

Hmmm, I dunno really, maybe I should sell it off cheaper but for the sake of £20, I might just keep it to make life easier if I ever need to return the imac.

That's my thinking. I have purchased 32Gb of Crucial Ram and was just going to hang onto the original Apple Ram incase I ever needed to return the machine.


Looks like my iMac is spending a third night in a cold, dark German warehouse. Hope it makes a break for freedom soon. Poor wee thing, never mind I have a nice warm spot for it when it gets to Bonnie Scotland ;)

If you do, just buy it then. It'll be cheaper than what you'd get right now. And no different to what's inside the iMac now. There's nothing magical about it. Usually manufactured by Samsung or A.N. Other third party manufacturer

Its crazy that imacs for the UK are shipped through Germany and imacs for Germany have not arrived yet here...

Mine is now in arnhem, netherlands, on his way to Germany. Via TNT.
So i guess there are a People in arnhem whose imacs are now in UK:rolleyes:

this is frustrating... expected delivery is 20-26 dec. but i am stuck at processing item.. will call apple today ..

I ordered 2.30 on the 30th and still processing. My delivery is later though 28th to 4th Jan
