Btw. First estimated between 22-26 june. Later it was pushed back to 27 th of june.

My first post!

I ordered a MacBook Air 13" 8Gb RAM 256Gb SSD on 16th June and learned about tracking it with Expeditors today and got extremely excited!

The Apple shipment status page says delivery is due for monday 25th :( but I'm trying to figure out from other peoples experience if I will get it early.

Does anyone know how long after Expeditors declares 'Delivered to Consignee' they actually received their parcel? Trying to find a correlation but there's so many mixed posts, it might be easier to just ask :D

Ordered mba 13"/8gb/128gb on the 13th.
Was shipped from Shanghai to Amsterdam the 19th.

22-Jun-2012 15:00:00 CEST Estimated Time of Delivery
19-Jun-2012 17:51:00 CEST Actual Time of Arrival
19-Jun-2012 17:51:00 CEST Estimated Time of Arrival
19-Jun-2012 12:41:00 SGT Confirmed on Board (Departed)
19-Jun-2012 13:20:00 SGT Estimated Time of Departure

Estimated time of arrival to me in Sweden is the 29th :(

It was 2 days later for me :) I'm not sure if UPS deliver on Saturday, so you might get it Monday.

bah, I don't like the sound of that. Also I was comparing my Expeditors timeline to yours and they seem different:

Ordered on the 11th June, as soon as the online store came back after WWDC. Here's a timeline:

11th - ordered online
14th - shipped from factory to freight company in Shanghai
16th - Departed Shangai for London (via Seoul with Korean Airlines)
17th - arrived in London
19th - cleared customs and shipped to Apple's merging centre
20th - shipped from Apple and UPS tracking number given
21st - delivered to me

14th - ordered online (i originally said 16th by mistake)
18th - shipped from factory to freight company in Shanghai
19th - Departed Shangai for London (with Virgin Airlines)
19th - arrived in London
21st - cleared customs and shipped to Apple's merging centre

21-Jun-2012 14:55:00 GMT Delivered to Consignee.

I sure do hope I get it before monday! I've been waiting for like the longest week of my life for this beast!

Updated today with 'comm docs received, Amsterdam'.. Does that mean that my air has arrived in Amsterdam already? Theres a flight w the quoted number arriving in an hour... or could it be sitting in shanghai waiting till tomorrow?

According to your data, it will arrive tomorrow evening in Amsterdam. Apple doesn't expect to receive it at their merging facility until Monday afternoon.

So Apple will ship it tomorrow (Friday 22 June), but it depends then if UPS deliver on Saturday. If they do - you're lucky, if they don't, it will be Monday!

LOL. Sorry dude, but I woulnd't expect anybody at a Swedish UPS to be at work tomorrow. If I were you I'd dance around the pole instead and expect it on Monday. ;)

I should have called apple earlier this week. Just 1h after complaining because my order has been for a whole week in the state "Merge In Tnst IT MIL", I check the reference number in TNT webpage (the shipping company that apple uses with Spanish orders) and I found the following:

Pick up date: 21 Jun 2012
Estimated delivery date: 22 Jun 2012
21 Jun 2012 19:43:00 Piacenza Shipment In Transit.

:)

That's great. Now I hope it arrives tomorrow in the morning, since I have quite an important event in the afternoon (my graduation from the university). If not, well, it's fine to wait till Monday now there is no uncertainty.

I was worried you'd say that. I wonder if when I get a UPS tracking number I can call and upgrade the delivery to Saturday delivery. Long shot, but I badly want it!

I'm still waiting for my computer to arrive but the TNT page won't tell me anything.
When did you order it?

Try to introduce the reference number you can find in the Apple shipping info webpage into the TNT tracking webpage.

My computer is a 11"/i5/8GB/128GB with the 80€ iTunes Student Gift Card.

June 12th: Ordered via phone (8pm CET).
June 14th: Shipped from China (European morning).
(One whole week merging in IT-MIL).
June 21th: Shipped from Italy (8pm CET).
June 22nd: Expected delivery to Toledo, Spain.

Exactly same configuration, minus keyboard/mouse, and order date, with tracking info saying the same.

Guess it will be delivered next Wed, hopefully.

Well, UPS delivered my 11" Air today and it's amazing.

Apple's delivery system is less so. I still haven't even received the promised e-mail with my tracking info in it :p Also, for a company who prides themselves on being ecological and green I think it's strange and wasteful that my iTunes gift card arrived in a separate bubble wrapped envelope with its own tracking info and shipping codes.

EDIT: to recap, ordered on the 11th immediately when the store opened after the WWDC. Shipped on the 14th, Apple listed a delivery date of the 27th. So ultimately my "1-3 days to ship, 4 days to deliver" Mac took 3 days to ship and then three working days to deliver. UPS clearly know their stuff, but Apple's logistics seem strange.

Mine was delivered to consignee 21/6 1530 or something like that. UPS tracking say it will be delivered 22/6 time specified as before end of day!!! ( no **** Scherlock )

Don't know of UPS works in Sweden tomorrow though, luckily i shipped mine to Denmark, live in Malmø - so just 1/2 hour drive away, and i was going to get some stuff done in DK anyway.

F@$k it... I guess the 2nd July estimate is accurate then. I can't remember ever getting shipping this slow. I hope they're getting it cheap!

Well, that means TNT hasn't your package yet. Probably it's still in merging facilities or even in transit from China. I got no result on TNT webpage till this evening.

You may check the following webpage (use your reference number, "Europe" as region and "APP" as customer), but is not that useful, I only got info from June 14th.
https://atlas.flextronics.com/apps/tracktrace/trk_tracking.asp
(To see the results, you need to use Internet Explorer or directly check the source code if you use another web browser).

Btw, my reference number is in the following format: 820*******

22-Jun-2012 15:30:00 CEST Estimated Time of Delivery PRG
22-Jun-2012 08:08:00 CEST Estimated Time of Arrival PRG
20-Jun-2012 08:24:00 SGT Confirmed on Board (Departed)
20-Jun-2012 09:00:00 SGT Estimated Time of Departure

Ordred: June, 13
13"/128gb/i5/8GB

Current location: Frankfurt, Germany.
Destination: Berlin
Expected date of delivery: June, 28.

Since I'll get the 80€ iTunes card, I guess that apple first has to put the card into the box and will then deliver to Berlin. Otherwise I wouldn't understand the Time difference between Apples service and the one from expo.

I'm pretty excited right now :D

At the end of the day, 10 days to get from China to UK does not really bother me. What does strike me as curious, is why Apple do not email the voucher codes, as it would save them a fortune in producing them and the extra logistics in merging them with hardware orders.

This is very successful company here, who plan everything to the nth degree to maximise profits, so there must be a reason why they do it this way, but I am stumped if I can think why.

The only reason I can imagine is for security. Printing a serial is a little more secure than emailing out codes.

Okay new question for everyone. How long after 'Delivered to Consignee' did you get your local delivery tracking number from UPS/local delivery?
