From the Currys/PC World T&C's...

"Sometimes we have to hold our hands up and admit we have made a mistake by unintentionally publishing inaccurate information on the site (e.g. the price, description or availability of a product you have ordered). In this instance we may have to cancel your order at any time up to the point we send you the product(s), even if you have received your Order Confirmation email, and you will receive a full refund of any charges already paid."

I imagine when someone at head office rolls into work at 8am/9am, they're going to get a bollocking! :D

Balls.

Hopefully they let us know today so I can go pick my reservation up.

ah thanks! seems like a good deal + £20 off using that code, not sure if i should wait for Tesco or get the 2 year warranty at JL

Tesco offering £30 right?

You always get the one year cover from Apple. I don't need a two year warranty as I won't even most likely keep it for two years. Depends how often you upgrade.

Anyone who ordered from asda yesterday heard anything? My online order still says waiting for dispatch.....

Mine hasn't done anything. I rang asda and got a rather unhelpful woman who told me I couldn't cancel the order but she didn't know when it would arrive but it should arrive today...

Reserved one at Argos just in case.

yep - says "Use eCoupon code TDX-KW3Q to save £30 when you spend over £300 on any iPad or tablet (excludes Sellers at Tesco) – Exp 27/11/13"

Usually every year

Thank you! Hopefully they honour the £20 on the Air then, will leave soon and collect it as with £10 of nectar points to use and hopefully the voucher is almost as good as the Tesco offer and will have it today :)

bookmark the page on your phone to show them just in case! ;)

I don't know about the rest of the country but here in Cambridge there is about 50 people and plenty of stock.

I think based on the lack of massive meet up threads here that as long as you get into a queue before 11ish you should get what you want from apple and other retailers will have plenty of stock.

Ordered from the HE Education Store. Only got £19 off a 128 GB Air but at least I know I will get it and it was completely hassle free - website was surprisingly responsive!

Ordered at 7am from Apple. Not really Ina rush to be first to own. Only thing is Smart Cover ships in 1-3 days whereas Air ships in 24h. Oh well.
