nice, same for me .... wonder if they can get it to us by friday :D

Not a chance.. mine just went to preparing to despatch too, ordered about 11:15am, coming from china monday will be earliest possible. Probably tuesday.

Have managed to reserve a 128today, so now need to pick between waiting for my 64 or getting the 128, still can't decide on capacity.

Any LTE model bigger than 16GB seems elusive, no stock at any of the Apple stores I've checked with iReserve.

Excellent. EE have now posted their Mini with Retina price list and are accepting orders. Quick summary of the 64 GB:
Code:
oneoff = 169
monthly = 31
months = 24
data = 5
ipad = 579

cost = oneoff + (monthly * months) => 913
gbs = data * months => 120
contract = cost - ipad => 334
per gb = contract / gbs => 2.7833
per month = contract / months => 13.9167

Unfortunately Vodafone still haven't posted their price list. But given that the break down above is quite compelling, I may just opt for EE this time round.

I managed to find one (32GB LTE, white) at the Regent Street on Tuesday. Stock seemed to appear for both Regent Street and Covent Garden (so maybe other stores too?) at 3pm, so it is worth checking then if you're near a store.

5gb is too less .. three are giving 10 gb on sim only and 15gb on 2 yr contract

I never liked the look of Three and have heard very bad things. Also, is that 4G? Unless Vodafone offer the better deal, I will probably opt for EE.

i was with vodafone before i joined three few months back .. for some reason never got consistent speeds/coverage with them but since switching to three ... been getting very good speeds and coverage ... its 3g at the moment but they will upgrade everyone to 4g when it launches in dec

might be a good idea to try payg sims from diff carriers to see which one works best for you

EE got cracking SIM only deal at the moment.

Use voucher EESIM10 when siging up on 4G SIMO contracts gives you £10 monthly line rental discount. I signed up for 5GB / month 4G nano sim for my retina mini which costs me only £11 / month on a 30 day rolling. BTW first month is free and there is £8 quidco.

Also get 2for1 wednesdays and free London underground wifi.

I've been with Three for data since about a year before the first iPad was released and with them for voice for 18 months or so now. They have been very good indeed, there were some rocky patches in the first couple of months (data stopped working if I went too far away from my home town) and when they first rolled out their traffic shaping system some people were affected quite heavily but I think that's died down now. I have no hesitation recommending them to friends and colleagues and they're my go-to provider for data only SIMs when the need arises.

I run 2x 10GB p/m and 1x 1GB p/m data SIMs with Three on the 30 day rolling contract. Never had an issue.

Where abouts in the country are you? I'm with Vodafone but thinking if jumping ship to three.

I done the same thing used to get terrible speeds with Vodafone in the Gatwick area.
On three I'm getting upto 12mbps

You really need to try a Sim from the Carrier. I was with Three for ages because of their excellent value. However could not get a signal in my house, work or at my friends houses, so actually pretty rubbish value. Fought with them for ages and eventually got a Home Phone booster which did make the house signal better. However their signal at work, or at other places I wanted was still rubbish, and over the year or so never improved. So I recently went with Virgin, who were now cheaper, and I am far happier. Better coverage, though not ideal. This is in the Glasgow and surrounding area. In cities I have found both Three and Virgin are very good.

Think they'd need to assemble them on the plane - though some reports indicate some of the screens may have been made in turbulent air at 35,000 feet.

Hahaha that would certainly explain the screen issues

London ... Even within London though you might find some areas have better/worse coverage and speeds with different carriers ... For me I wanted good speeds and coverage at work .. Three is much faster at work than Vodafone for me

Contrary to this, I really don't like Three. I was with Virgin Mobile for about ten years and never received anything other than excellent service from them, but because I wanted an iPhone I jumped ship and went with Three. I've regretted it ever since. Compared to Virgin (who I think piggyback off EE masts?) I get really poor signal with Three in both Ipswich and Norwich. A mast went down in my local area resulting in me having no signal for three days, but Three didn't even attempt to notify me or any of their affected customers. I can't say I know how other networks would have dealt with the same problem, but I just felt it was quite poor service.

Plus, the sales assistant was extremely shifty when I tried to sign up for my contract, and kept trying to force me to sign up for a broadband dongle that he insisted was 'free' but after one month would cost me? Hmm. I don't think so.

Recently decided to get my Mum an iPhone so I decided not to make the same mistake again so I bought the phone outright and set up a 30 day Sim-only contract with Virgin. She's got great signal and she loves it. When I'm finally free of my contract with Three I'll be doing the same.

Not trying to be inflammatory, just sharing my story. :D

It's shipped

Also dispatched. Mine's on standard shipping though. Be interesting to see how they go through the system.

Not had the "despatched" e-mail from Apple.

Interestingly mine's coming from Taipei. Est. delivery 28th.

64GB cellular space grey.

Anyone else who ordered the 128 space grey lte mini still processing (despite express shipping)?

Seems a few of your have been shipped already or is that the 64gb one's?

Mine was the 32GB Space Gray which is still processing despite ordering on launch day with express shipping. I know quite a lot of people who get them much earlier than the expected delivery date but maybe that initial batch is all up and they have some problems with the second one? When did you order?
