Order still processing!

Missed the first delivery date!

What's going on Apple!!

:(

I can understand your concern, but mine (now returned as mentioned above) went from processing -> dispatched -> delivered between about 0500 on Sat 16th, arrived at my house at 1400 on Monday 18th. Point being, there's still hope yours will be in your hands by Dec 2.

Still waiting for my LTE retina mini ordered at just after 8am on release day.

I like to think they're taking a bit more time to make sure the screens are up to scratch, while at the same time realising how unlikely that is.

Yeah, this is my reasoning as well. Definitely some wishful thinking :D

i have a cellular iPad Air and just got a Lucky Labs skin for the back which covers the antenna part.

Question is, has anyone used a skin for the back of a cellular iPad and does it degrade signal?

I'm sure it will be ok, but wanted to check before i installed it.

Pain is over, just got the UPS delivery at 1pm. :D

32gb LTE iPad mini with retina display, ordered on 13th Nov

My order for a 64gb cellular is exactly the same. I spoke with an Apple rep about my order and was told everything is OK as far as they can see but could not give me any outlook for the delivery, it just means waiting longer I think. There looks to be real constraints on the larger memory cellular models at the moment.
:(

Maybe this is behind the delays in shipping LTE version, I've got a feeling that certain LTE models are shipping from the production line that fits the Sharp screen. If anyone that has received a LTE (particularly 64gb or 128gb) model can check their serial number format as below and a comment about this.

DMPL - LG
DMQL - Samsung
DLXL - Sharp

We shall see......

My 128gb LTE (faulty, green line down centre) was DLXL, fitting your hypothesis.

At least you have received one, however with a faulty screen. Maybe a little too soon for Sharp to get into the Ipad screen business!

Well what do you know, mine's just gone 'Preparing for Dispatch'. Tim must have got my message.......

Mine's just changed too! :)

My replacement has gone from processing to dispatched today, and is showing delivery on Thursday via UPS, woo! As there was a two day turn around last time I'm very hopeful it will actually come on Thursday, or worst case the end of the week, yay!

If this is indeed the case, its hilarious that I will have received two iPad's by the 28th, when my original order said Nov 26 - Dec 2 for the first one.

John Lewis have just got a lot of stock in online finally have my 128 space grey cellular

The Apple order status and tracking is weird, there's something crazy going on here.

This morning my order was showing still processing, this afternoon is said preparing for dispatch. I then get an email from UPS with a tracking number which when you followed up said that instructions had been received but no other tracking information was available at this time, try again later. This evening the Apple order status still shows preparing for dispatch but the UPS tracking now says it's arrived in the UK / Manchester and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

This is very odd and I'm wondering if Apple are redirecting stock where orders are due or overdue. There is no tracking data out of China showing up as you would normally expect.

Anyway amazingly it might actually arrive tomorrow (ordered on the 12th November at 9:00am, due to be delivered between the 26th Nov - 3rd Dec).

:D

It's worth giving Apple customer service a call. I did last week and I think they may be behind the sudden change to my order. Looking at the tracking information for my order, it definitely looks that this has been fulfilled from 'local' stock. The only tracking showing are details for the UK:

Manchester, United Kingdom 11/26/2013 9:00 P.M. Departure Scan
Manchester, United Kingdom 11/26/2013 6:15 P.M. Origin Scan
United Kingdom 11/26/2013 11:42 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

I reckon they could have diverted local stock meant for distributors to fulfill coming due / over due deliveries.

:)

I'm not sure if this a good thing or bad thing. As it's taken so long to get to this point, I was hoping for a newer, possibly less faulty iPad mini direct from China.

What the hell. Mine has now updated to delivery tomorrow, despite that it hasn't been dispatched...
It used to be 26th Nov - 3rd Dec delivery.
