I also ordered the iPencil the same day. Just checked mine and it still says 19th and 26th Nov. No change for my order.

I ordered my pencil on line - its saying 15-21st December! Eeek!

I hope the stores get some in and I can cancel my order!!!

Just phoned the store in Westfield London. The employee checked and said they had nothing, best bet is to order online.

Just reserved a 128gb space grey iPad pro from Argos for collection today at 4pm. Talked the Mrs into letting me buy one, kinda.
Can't wait. 6 hours to go till I have one

I just got a text from DPD saying just that - mine's coming between quarter past 10 and quarter past 11.

Ace
Jealous!

This is the one UK Mail thing out of ten or more Apple orders and of course it's the Pencil, which I would have paid for to get early haha

Tease us with pictures!

Just been into the Milton Keynes Apple Store and they don't have one single accessory for the iPad pro! Not even a silicon cover.

What the hell is going on with Apple nowadays, it's supposed to be the device that's hard to find not a slab of silicon.

My keyboard just arrived! Big surprise, was originally late next week, then Monday, and then it just came!!

DPD, others might experience the same you never know.

Potato shot.

Edit: And now I'm typing on it for the very first time! Using it on my lap and it feels surprisingly stable.

Nope. Looks like Monday it is.

Guess sat delivery was extra, hence we will reviceve them on Monday.

Not the Pencil admittedly, but my keyboard arrived via DPD just now and I didn't pay extra shipping.

My pencil was 8.28 am

OMG, I must have "just" missed out then. My order was 8:30am. It would have been sooner if there hadn't been problems with the UK website not "unlocking" at 8am as it should have done. I relied on the kind forum posters that gave direct links to the order page but still was "just" too late for the first few pencils.

Awesome you got yours today.

Checked my tracking and it's Monday for me.

What do you think of the Smart Cover?

Mine was still showing Monday when I looked at about 10am this morning, then there was a knock on the door at midday. Dont know if tracking will have shown this change prior.

So far, really like it from the half hour I've had with it. Traditionally haven't used a physical keyboard with the iPad much in the past, don't really have the need.

I see this as a cover/stand with added funtionality personally. Alone, it did feel a little heavier than expected (although still light considering what it adds), but it's definitely worth it I suspect.

The shortcut functionality is nice and will only get better when more apps add them. Holding the command key brings up shortcuts as you'll probably be aware, but it appears there's some unadvertised ones, like command-arrow up/down to go to top/bottom of Safari, ctrl A to select all etc which is handy.

Think Gruber mentioned that shortcuts stopped working sometimes until you went to home screen and then returned, it has actually happened to me once so far.

Feels nice and stable on my lap I'm really surprised to say, bravo. Doesn't feel like it's going to fall off at any moment and I like how the magnet is strong enough to pickup the whole unit and the structure maintains it's integrity. One intentionally sharp tug and it's released when you want it too.

Also, I defy anyone not be a little bit "Hmm, how?" when trying to fold it up as a stand without the keyboard at the front, for the first time. Took a little bit of puzzling but is very simple.

Too early to say, but this may have actually encouraged me to keep the Pro. I said in another thread, I was a little on the fence re keeping it as it's predominantly an entertainment device for me and it's possibly a little inconvenient for me. However, the Pro feels soooo much functional when you have the option of the keyboard for so little extra weight, I'm rapidly coming around!

Typed all of this on it, I'd never dream of writing a post this long on the software keyboard! Also, all of it from my lap, feels comfortable and likely even better on a desk.

Cheers for that feedback, really appreciate it.

I am same with you, not certain about the Pro as it feels awkward to use compared to my Air 2. Waiting for the pencil and cover to arrive before making a decision.

Could you let me know what the keyboard cover is like? I'm thinking about getting one. Originally I brought the silicone case and Smart Cover with my iPad Pro, but now I'm thinking about getting the Keyboard Cover as well for when I want to write essays, stories and so on.

My impressions a couple of posts ago, #295 :)

Sorry about that, I bagged that last silicon cover there at about 7.30 last night.

They had a couple of logitech keyboard covers left, but no thanks to that.
