wow even the Apple Pencil shipping times have slipped, and i thought 1-2 weeks was bad enough, 4-5 is badso glad i ordered yesterday!
my order still says 1-2 weeks with Apple online
I guess I got lucky with my Pencil shipping in 5-7 business days then!
You did indeed, I feel lucky having it ship in 1-2 weeks conspired to the now 4-5 weeks! It's interesting to see that the iPad Pro is slipping in shipping times, I wonder if it means they are selling well. It will be interesting to see what happens in this particular space, especially app wise.

Just collected my Space Gray Cellular from Waitrose. I thought I'd avoid the hassle of parking and go on my bike - bad idea! It came in a massive 2 foot long box - I thought they sent me an LCD TV by mistake or something! Oh what fun it was balancing that on my handlebars on the bumpy ride home and looking like a right plank...
Received my 128GB Space Grey WiFi with charcoal smart cover and charcoal silicone case today. iPad is working fine although a very slight scuff to the shiny Apple logo on the rear. It's a few hairlines at the bottom left of the Apple logo that shows up under bright light. Nothing to return for, but just not quite perfect. Screen and everything else is performing just fine.
I kind of get why the silicone case is so expensive. I mean it is totally over priced, but its not a normal silicone case. It is lined with carpet like material on the inside...its not just the gel material inside and out.

Had a brief fondle with it, now restoring from my local Air 2 backup which will take aaaages as it was 128gb with about 5gb free.
Good idea including a double length lightning cable.
Wins the prize for "lowest charged iPad" I've ever bought, 69% remaining out of the box. They've always been about 85% in the past for me.
Pity the keyboard won't arrive till late next week at the earliest, heyho. I'd rather that be late than the iPad itself though, ha!
Glad it arrived when it did, I'll distract myself with lunch now, and possibly some Fallout 4. Aah life is sweet.

As always I don't think apple actually offer a reserve option on much in the UK. I think he iPhone was the first thing so far
Yeah, and if they do it always seem to be buried and I only ever see it after someone shares a link to it.
Wouldn't mind reserving a keyboard for local pickup and then cancelling my online order, but I'm not holding my breath.
In other news, I really need to sell some old devices!

I bought myne instore yesterday at bluewater they had quite alot there. No keyboard cases though. I didnt buy the pro as a laptop replacement more as a media device and am happy so far. lovely screen speakers sound great nice full sounding. And its very fast and smoothe what more can you want. better than the air in every way. people must be crazy to not drop the extra £200 on one of these.
