iPad Pro UK iPad Pro Preorder thread

Initial impressions:
- Fast. Damn fast.
- Huge. Damn huge. Like, you-will-not-believe-it huge.
- Heavy (because it's huge)
- Speakers are great.
- Typing in portrait is horrendous but in landscape is lush.
- It has Touch ID 2, or at least something equally fast. Lovely surprise.
- The screen appears to have poor off-axis colour but I believe this is because of the large screen; it's probably technically superior to other iPads.
- It comes with a 2m Lightning cable (yay!)
- It comes with a 12W power adapter.
- It is severely disrupting my workflow.
Just picked mine up from The Oracle store in Reading (128GB WiFi + Celluar). Stock available, no Pencils left (i had the last one!), no Apple keyboard covers, but they do have the Logitech ones.

I'm really unsure. Mine arrives on Friday so I can give feedback if you want. It looks like plastic and I'm working about how bulky the iPad will be. To me though, the keys look a bit nicer than the Apple Smart Keyboard. Also they are backlit so...
My online order just shipped, couldn't cancel it.

As I mentioned earlier, Apple UK tend to use both UK Mail and DPD. With the Apple TV, UK Mail notifications went out early afternoon and DPD, was as late as 7pm for some. So there is plenty of time for it still to be dispatched today for tomorrow.
I ordered the Space Grey 128GB WiFi, showing as delivered 13th, and I notice that's the one model to have sold out for release day online. Hoping they do ship what they had today.

Looks quite nice actually... Plus those backlit keys
Very heavy though - 725 g for those of us who don't always need an external keyboard. I shall wait and see what non-keyboard cases Logitech will bring out.
I'm holding off just a bit longer.... I'm worried if I order now it may turn up tomorrow,which would be no good for me. Friday yes but Thursday not a chance.
cool. ordered online from Apple this morning, just been emailed a dispatch note for delivery tomoz!
Mine still says "preparing for dispatch" think it's going to be Friday when it arrives, which is still good considering I only ordered earlier today. Just wish the Pencil was shipping at the same time.
So what does everyone (who has got theirs) think of the iPad Pro? Are you glad you took the plunge? And if any of you had the Pencil can you tell me what it's like? Did Apple do a good job with it.

I wonder what effect the backlit keys will have on battery life. Hopefully they can be dimmed or turned off as they look very bright on that site and in many situations won't be needed.
