Thanks for the assist though - hope someone can help me out!

Monthly goes on until cancelled from what I’ve read, so I’ll be going for a monthly.
I’m not planning an upgrade for a while.

Looks like the monthly AppleCare+ for iPhone continues until the point Apple can no longer service the device, whereas the outright is a 24 month policy.

Info taken from here: https://www.apple.com/legal/sales-s...ecareplus/1020/101320_applecareplus_uk_tc.pdf

Looks like I'll change my plan to buy it outright then...

how does the monthly work if you had 2 incidents and claimed
As soon as you stop the subscription AppleCare ends so after two claims you stop the subscription.

it’s essentially the same as any insurance product in that you can cancel the policy after making a claim.

Apple Store Bromley being pretty safe for in-store pick up on Friday:

Their also opening at 8am.

I organised collection for my Apple Watch S6 at bromley, albeit fairly early on a Saturday. Yes, there was a queue, but gladly also staff walking the queue to ask if people had booked an appointment, so went right in. Hoping things are a little more calm on Friday 14:00 as I collect the iPhone 12.

The last time I did an inshore pickup I ended up wasting 45 mins there waiting for the associate to bring me the damn phone. From then on... always wanted to do home delivery.

No you read that wrong mate.

Nobody can leave their local areas from 6pm on Friday as we are in a full national firebreak lockdown. I doubt anybody regardless of tier from England will be allowed to travel in for 2 weeks.

Just making the point and keeping it on topic that travelling to an Apple store here to collect preorders will be illegal after Friday unless you live in Cardiff or other parts with official Apple stores.
No Mate, I didn’t read it wrong, I was qouting your exact words from your post and also quoting the gov.wales website as regards travel restrictions in Wales for English tourists.

Anyway, this subject is a little political and well off topic. Let’s move on.

...can anybody register for this then?

Will this still work as I already upgraded end of last week or is it only for new upgrades going forward?
You can ask chat to apply it to new bill dates going forward. They can't (or maybe can and didn't want to) credit previous bills.

Anyone can register, but your work domain email has to be on the list.

So your work needs to sign up for it.
