I currently have a loyalty discount applied to my EE contract which went out of contract about a year ago but I'm still paying the lower rate as it still applies the loyalty discount even after the initial 12 month SIM only had run out.

Whilst I would like to change it to a 5G capable contract, the code from ee perks seems like it will run out after the initial period is up, which isn't so great, also for some reason it's not accepting the code either!

Speak to chat to add the discount.

don’t think Perks or Student codes work on sim only, they didn’t online but got the Loyalty discount applied
Student definitely does as I had a sim only before getting my last iPhone on contract and am now back on Sim Only again, the terms state it doesn't work on 5G contracts but has always worked for me with no issues

Do they add it as a loyalty discount or a 20% off that lasts for the duration of the contract?
I didn't ask, so it might be they add for the duration of the contract. I'm yet to see my second bill to see how it looks like. I'm sure when I get to it in two years I can find another code.

I spoke to Amazon on Live chat to try and get them to move my 12 pro delivery to Friday instead of Monday. Sadly no cigar, i received an email afterwards assuring me that my order would be delivered on Monday. Time to cancel my Apple order. Shame i'm going to miss being part of the tracking and release day fun :(

If anyone could generate an EE discount code for me I’d greatly appreciate it. Looking to upgrade my current EE contract to a sim only deal (as I bought the device directly from Apple).

Afternoon, just woke up as I'm not very well. So far I can't stop checking my order details page on Vodafone to see if anything has changed, too excited for the phone 🤩🥳

If I get lucky with the amazon order on the 24th , what is the safest way of sending the iPhone back to apple which arrives on the 23rd? Bit paranoid about it going missing and would rather drive to Milton Keynes if I can hand it back to the store??

You'd better tell Merseyside Police this then lol, as another poster pointed out they are scanning number plates in the area and issuing fines.....
You can’t just scan number plates and issue fines with no further ado. People from out of the area may well have an entirely reasonable excuse to be there, for example a surgeon who lives in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 area driving into a Tier 3 area to carry out an operation.

Get well soon!

Do a return via Apple.com, where UPS come to pick it up / drop off at a UPS access point.

My case and MagSafe charger arrived today.

Just called to cancel my order with Carphone Warehouse.. but when the guy said he was transferring me, the call ended! Not sure if that was accidental lol. Gonna call again to cancel, but yes I’m hopeful that Amazon really are honouring the £849 orders, which is definitely worth the extra day of waiting!

My EE order has changed to 23rd a delivery.

i find it cheaper going to EE directly if your upgrading yearly because.........

£89 with 100GB data and Apple music
+ £14 for insurance = £103 x 12 = £1,236

after 12 months, you can sell your iPhone for around £500 and start a new contract with a new iPhone. Use the £500 as your anytime upgrade fee.

Direct viaApple
otherwise £1,100 for the phone + £240yr for sim + £120yr for Apple Music + £120 year Apple care = around £1600

If you sell the phone after a year for sound £500 you’ve spend about £1k- £1100

Actually it’s roughly the same thing 😂
