When does / would of the CPW order arrived?
 
Sorry fat fingers, why would you get phone insurance from a mobile operator when it is way cheaper from your bank (if they provide it)

Not actually sure tbh - launch day was stated when I originally ordered, but I had to make payment again in the evening so that could have delayed it. But then I’ve seen people mentioning CPW delays, so I guess I wouldn’t know until it dispatchEd.
 
If anyone is still able to share a 20% discount code for EE I'd really appreciate one too :)

She's not wrong. You pay VAT on £15 and above, but anything over £135 you pay VAT and Duty. You pay the handling charge on both. The fee covers people like me who are creating import declarations and clearing your goods to allow them to enter the country freely.

Am I right in saying its 20% VAT on all costs, so the cost of item plus handling charge etc?
 
Just tried to cancel my apple order and they're saying they can't do it till it's shipped. Woman even said i could receive it and use it for 14 days and then return if i wasn't happy. I know they will accept returns after opening but I assumed they'd prefer it back unopened

Just refuse delivery when it turns up.
 
This thread is impossible to keep up with at the moment so I’m not even going to try 🤣 Emerged at the right time though I think. If @kinster can‘t sort anyone out with an EE code send me a message (I think the limit is 1 per hour). I’m now classed as a student as I’m training to teach

picked up MagSafe charger from Apple store in reading. Guy I spoke to wasn’t sure what they were going to do for walk ups on Friday. Suggested maybe they would give people slots and ask them to leave the area for a while. He also mentioned maybe they were looking at couriers to deliver store stock - kind of like deliveroo for phones :)
