I have just had an email from Rebuy stating that they have now paid me the offer price also another one showing me the Transfer tracking of payment into my bank via Transfer wise. It was a very easy transaction all the way and quick. DPD collected yesterday and phone delivered this morning with payment being given today. DPD supplied all the packaging, plus the fact you could alter the collection days through the DPD/ Rebuy email app.

Can I ask a question of those ordering from retailers other than Apple?
Unless you’re availing a corporate discount or workplace voucher scheme, what’s the reason for ordering from Currys, AO etc. rather than Apple directly? Just curious. Because it seems year after year they let down people.

They are collecting my phone tomorrow. Did your phone have any marks? I’ve never used Rebuy before.
Impatience. I did order from Apple as soon as preorders went live, but was given a 2nd-9th delivery estimate.
Someone here mentioned AO had stock, so the day after I placed an order with them and cancelled my order with Apple.
I’m going to try my luck with John Lewis on Friday, failing that I’ll wait for AO to deliver at some point next week.
So I asked vodafone what’s happening with my order as it’s still on hold, long story short I might not be getting it till November 1st even though they promised Friday and they’ve given me £25 compensation for it. They have me £25 compensation for the last mess up so they’ve basically given me £50 for their mess ups 🤷♂️ Not happy but what can you do 🙄

Thought I'd check-in to the forum for my annual wait for my shiny new iPhone
As per last year I ordered from Stormfront as they offer a 3 year warranty over the standard 12 months with Apple
Hopefully it arrives on launch, last years 11 Pro did so I'm feeling hopeful
