Have you managed to send your phone off to rebuy yet? Can you let me know of your experience and when they pay out please. Thanks

I have just had an email from Rebuy stating that they have now paid me the offer price also another one showing me the Transfer tracking of payment into my bank via Transfer wise. It was a very easy transaction all the way and quick. DPD collected yesterday and phone delivered this morning with payment being given today. DPD supplied all the packaging, plus the fact you could alter the collection days through the DPD/ Rebuy email app.View attachment 970625
I had a like new quote for £430 but it was rejected...what condition did you submit yours as?

No harm in trying I'd say

Mine was very good, Always been in a case, Belkin screen protector from new, Had what looked like a Burn/Tarnish mark on bezel near to speaker/Port area. Only locked price in on 14th as prices started to fall. Happy with what they have given me. I went through Compare and recycle link

Just managed to bag a deal from EE

100GB 5G smart plan with 1 swappable benefit - £20 with a £10 loyalty discount so £10 a month. They wouldn’t accept my student discount code on top of that but will chance it again tomorrow and see what they say. Happy with that 😀

They didn't sign me onto a new contract but here is my plan

Smart SIM Plan 18m 100GB £23
+£3 loyalty discount
+20% discount
so £16

How did you get a £10 loyalty discount?

Sorry meant to say, my quote was £430 for very good which was higher than their like new price and I submitted last week, phone collected on Monday. Yes its a decent price you got :)

I missed the St Francis moment in 2015 as I never had an S-year iPhone ...

I'm on the same page as @Sheza in 2014 (iPhone 6) and moaning about people pre-ordering multiple pickups in 2016 (iPhone 7), so there are still some things one can count on in a messed-up world.

I cant see a problem, as I ordered my 2nd one only yesterday as it was on the website for Grabs. It will also give another customer the possibility of a swap on the day of their collection.etc etc.

Hey everyone! I've been busy today so haven't had time to catch up on over 40 pages lol! One thing that is concerning me is how much 5G is meant to drain the batteries on the phones. I've been reading a lot of reviews today and they're all saying that 5G really drains them. I guess we'll have to see when we get them.

From about 10.5 hours to 9 hours.

... alough in those reviews they compared the 6.1" Pro to android phablets; in terms of physical battery size and therefore compariable results they should be comparing those android devices to the 6.7" Pro Max. Pretty sure the battery hit would be the same then. Afterall the Snapdragon 865/865+ has the same X55 modem as the iPhone 12.

This is why I’m hoping Apple release their smart battery cases soon.

I don’t suppose the smart switch works by identifying which has better strength 4g and 5g and assigning affinity to it?
John Gruber answered this:
te options in Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options → Voice & Data:

  • 5G On
  • 5G Auto
  • LTE
Apple’s description: “5G On uses 5G whenever it is available, even when it may reduce battery life. 5G Auto uses 5G only when it will not significantly reduce battery life.” 5G Auto is the default, and that’s where I left it all week.

Normally, when I order from Apple they put a hold on my CC for the full amount, it then drops off after a few days, and then reappears when the phone go’s to PTS.
This time I ordered on 16/11 for 2-9 Nov delivery, but, the CC hold never appeared. Did anyone see the hold?

Maybe the auth has already been released. If you pay via debit card, there is no auth hold
