Now have my text from AO saying delivery tomorrow, it says they deliver from 7am and I'd be super happy if it arrives that early! But whatever time it arrives tomorrow I'll be over the moon with them.

Still can't believe Currys couldn't deliver for launch day when I got an order in almost straight away last week yet AO can deliver for launch day on an order placed last night. Or maybe I shouldn't be saying that until I have the phone in my hand.......

Well at least you know now to go to ao before currys in the future... and not just for iPhones!

the order statuses will re-appear soon enough.. either they've got a blip or its planned maintenance.. your orders are not going anywhere.

if you had a date from apple saying delivery tomorrow.. you will get your phone tomorrow.
if you haven't had your DPD tracking. it will turn up or it might be DHl/UKMail and come later.. you'll have it by this evening.

tomorrow evening.. this place may be very very quiet :D

Is anyone thinking, who goes on IUP or has AC+ not putting one on. The screen replacement is only £25 on AC+ so the cost of the screen protector. I’m thinking maybe might risk this year?

I never use a screen protector or a case on my iPhones. If you have AppleCare and drop it it is not a big problem, just get another one sent out the next day.

My change to unlimited data as part of my upgrade has just come through so it looks like the phone will be arriving tomorrow!. YAY!!!!

My O2 sim gets no signal here at work. The EE PAYG sim I brought on Monday gets no signal at work but EE does seem to have a better signal at home and elsewhere that I've tested it.

Is it therefore worth going to EE or should I just stick with O2. Assuming cost is the same (it's not but there's not enough of a difference to worry about).

Also, do EE give a 'lesser' service to those on PAYG and I could potentially expect to see better if I sign up for a 24 month SIMO or does it not make a difference?

Any thoughts anyone please?

EE PAYG customers don’t have access to EE’s band 20 spectrum, which provides better signal through put. Also they don’t have access to 4G calling or WIFI calling. You’d probably will see a better experience with a pay monthly sim.

I also ordered mine from curry's (128 pro Graphite), just got off web chat now and they assured me it has left the warehouse and will be delivered tomorrow. They can't provide the tracking number though, which worries me slightly!

They only had the Pacific Blue with 512Gb still available. I sat there for a few minutes dithering over it and then though sod it and clicked order. I put money to one side every month for a new iPhone every two years and so I had the money already. Of course by going for the 512 I don't have the cash set aside to upgrade my Apple Watch 4 just yet but I can wait for that :)

case defo for me but it’s no brainer for £25 to crack it before either passing it down or selling it on to get a screen replacement

Well AO just confirmed on live chat it's definitely not arriving tomorrow. If anyone else has ordered the silver model then I wouldn't get your hopes up...
