I never use a screen protector or a case on my iPhones. If you have AppleCare and drop it it is not a big problem, just get another one sent out the next day.

same here .. they look so nice and slick it’s a crime to cover them withcrappy rubber or plastic covers haha

Just had EE Chat advisor confirmed my order had been picked.

EE PAYG customers don’t have access to EE’s band 20 spectrum, which provides better signal through put. Also they don’t have access to 4G calling or WIFI calling. You’d probably will see a better experience with a pay monthly sim.

Ah, that's really interesting to know. I've had clients visit me at work who have said that they are on EE (with iPhones) and get a bar or two of signal. This PAYG EE Sim has for the last 3 days shown no signal here at all, so that might explain the difference.
Would being on PAYM also possibly result in faster download speeds too?

Ordered direct from Apple UK and the site is now running again showing my orders. Can confirm my order has changed to Shipped and tracking number will be available soon.

Just refreshed on the Apple website order page and it has now returned. I'm booked in for 2 collections in store on Saturday for myself and my sister. They just now need to send an email confirming that the iPhones are ready for collection.

I ordered the iPhone 12, had the 11 Pro last year and wanted a lighter phone, only use the main camera which is the same..

totally agree... we're enthusiasts here.. more likely to go for the top end and new colour options.. happens every year.


but more most of apples customers, the 12 will be the clear choice
