Same here, mine has moved to preparing to ship as well. Although I have ordered the 12 and says it arrives 29 Oct - 2 Nov. Really want it to come on or before the 29th October as I need to send my X to music magpie before the 5th November

Fingers crossed then, certainly sounds as if it could arrive this coming week.

I did notice earlier today that my local store (Braehead, Glasgow) had the same model as mine (128GB graphite Pro) available for collection tomorrow.

Still contemplating trying a Pro Max this year, I can see me trying to get an order in on the 6th, then deciding which one to actually keep. I don't think I'll be alone in this mind you!

I am contemplating changing my iup and going on the 24month option because having slept on it I don’t like the fact they pocketed £83 rather than me 🤔

Yes I like the ease of the program and AppleCare feature but it’s less per month on the 24 option so il decide today what to do
 
Just been to the local Apple store (10 miles away) to try and see what the colours are like and screen compared to my 11 pro Max. No chance. I knew you would probably have to book a slot with someone outside the store. Problem is you can’t just look at stuff any more. If you want to purchase something or even just look you have to book a slot for a few days time. :-(

So just to look you have to go to the store to book a slot. How’s that work? Why can’t you do it online?
 
People asking how battery life is on 5G.

Come on; most haven’t even had the phone 24 hours yet battery life cannot in any way shape or form be commented on as we are all going to be constantly fiddling about with our new phones.

Give it a few weeks before asking the question.

Figured it out... a Sign Out of iCloud, phone restart, and re-Sign In to iCloud fixed it.

Thank you for posting those pics. I was going back and forth between the Silver and Pacific Blue. I’ve had silver for the past few years since the iPhone 6 and was thinking about a change and getting the Pacific Blue but these pics have reaffirmed that I should go with Silver again. 😃👍

Anyone got experience of taking a handset back to exchange for a different colour, not feeling the Silver one bit?

And is there a better place to check stock other then the Apple Store app?
