Should I just act dumb and let them remove it lol! I don’t want to take chances in transit. Also I’m leaving the case on it just in case!
when are you due to get paid then?
Well the website quotes it same day payment to when they actually receive the item so I’m hoping tomorrow or Tuesday latest I’ll see...
I wouldn’t leave the case on or anything because they will just take it off. Best to take everything off it and give it a good clean that’s all I done. It won’t fit into the reBuy box otherwise. In terms of in transit damage, he asked me is it fully functioning to which I said yes it is.

I took the screen protector off, also I did have it in the box however when DPD come they take it out the box take a pic of the handset and put it into the reBuy box and packet so no point I got given the box back 😅

Its very straight forward and easy. Mine got delivered the following day and payment in my bank later. Kept informed by reBuy/DPD all the way. Excellent service and easy

I think my decision to leave O2 on Friday has brought the company to its knees lol. I haven’t got over 9mbs for days now. Vodafone is much quicker but not 5G quick.

did you select ‘like new’ or ‘very good’ for condition?

my XS Max is £407 like new or £250 very good. Seems to be a huge difference.

Just sent it off now 😌. Do you get to track it at all or do you just wait till they notify you that they have received it?

I went through a price compare link , and it did not give me that option, only New ,Working or Broken
however on finding and checking reBuy website itself it appeared that I was given the Like New option anyway @ £367 for X 256
It was a better deal than MusicMagpie even with a voucher code at the time I decided to sell it, The prices were dropping daily before launch of the new models

I marked mine as like new since it’s always been in a case and has had a screen protector since day 1. I cleaned it this morning and it was immaculate no marks! I did leave the case and screen protector on just in case so they’ll just have to remove them unfortunately. Not taking risks since the box that they put them in can open up in transit even though it’s inside a bubble envelope!

I’m going by both, DPD gave me the sticker receipt from inside the reBuy packet that the phone was put into. But I’m not gonna track and just wait to hear back from them.

Trying to add AppleCare but system appears to be down, can’t do it via settings either. I wonder if they are fixing the pricing error ?

Sold my S20U on Facebook in about an hour after a couple of joke amounts settled on £550 which is about the same as a mobile recycling company without the worry or hassle of seeing if you get the amount you want.

Are they coming to collect it or you posting it? Don’t know it’s always a risk selling online anyway because they might end up claiming that there’s something wrong with the phone after receiving it.

The chap collected it yesterday and he could of literally walked to my home as we both live in the same area, paid by bank transfer very smooth process and never had one problem with selling phones on Facebook I.e no idiots claiming faults or damaging it and wanting a refund etc, normally use cex or cpw as I am very untrusting of mobile recycling sites and would rather take a small hit money wise for peace of mind.

When the iPhone 13 is out will trade it to apple though.

With reBuy you had the option of them returning the phone if they offered a lower price anyway, It was very easy and no hastle and could alter the deivery/collection easiliy on the DPD link As i said, Collected Wed, delivered Thursday and Paid same day. No packing/delivery fees.

my biggest worry is always that they claim there is damage when there isn’t and you ask for a return and the phone which was immaculate is now in worse condition than before you sent it.

maybe I am too paranoid lol

I’ll probably sell mine through Facebook too as I sold an iPad a few years back within minutes of putting it up for sale. I like that you deal face to face and if there is a problem they have to come to you rather than through a third party who might take their side. Less likely to be scammed too.

Its a chance you take in life , otherwise do what other posters have done/doing and sell via Facebook. Always do what you are Happy with. :)

The driver takes a photo of the phone in the box and I left mine with the case and screen protector on so they better not come at me with some excuse!

So I've seen a lot of you using ReBuy for selling your phones - current price is £655 but the eBay market seems to be around £800 (iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB).. decisions!

I've sold iPhones & iPads on eBay before with no issues!

Any help appreciated!

Sold My iPhone 11 Pro Max so anxiously waiting for the max preorders to go live. Back to the tiny screen of an IPhone 7 until then. It’s like a postage stamp.
