I was cleaning an old 8 series red and its back looked beautiful. That deep red is much nicer than the salmon red they’ve got this year
I made a thread about this issue and it seems that it’s incompatible with my old Qi charger. They must of moved round the coils inside and it no longer works so you have to get a new one.. personally I don’t want the MagSafe as it keeps the phone flat rather than stood up.
Anyone know if any John Lewis or phone network stores have the phones out for you to actually look at? I've a day off tomorrow and as much as I'm holding for the 12 Pro Max, I'd like to look at the 12 Pro, just to see what it's like and if it would be big enough for me.
According to a couple of earlier posts JL have them on display (at least in some branches).
Morning all! Just wanted to say both our phones arrived Friday and have been busy setting up and playing around ever since, just catching up on this thread now! I decided to set up as new since I’ve accumulated far too many pointless apps 😂.
12 pro feels like a huge upgrade coming from my X. Much faster, seriously impressive camera and very good battery life. I finished yesterday with 55% battery despite frequent usage. My X would have been at 10-20% at the same point so very impressed.
Thanks to whoever mentioned the AppleCare at £7.99 - it worked for me too. Says £9.99/month however when you go to take the payment it goes through as £7.99 so very happy with that!
I’m in two minds about the apple silicone case at the moment. I like the look but they do seem to be a bit of a lint magnet when placed in pockets. Might look into the leather cases when they are available or failing that a cheap hard plastic case from Amazon.
This forum has been amazing for tips and general banter. I’m a long time lurker and don’t usually post but I just want to say it’s been a great source of information and entertainment and a well needed distraction from everything else going on in the world! Thanks all 😊

My 12 Pro has to sit in a different position to my old XR but does work on the same wireless charger.

I also have the same issue. When you go to the order status page on the apple website it just says ‘something went wrong’ and within the apple store app my order has just disappeared altogether.

I remember a while back when I was making a reservation for an iPhone it was normally around 6am when stores tend to receive stock. May have changed nowadays though.

Urgh, I know the battery is smaller than what I came from, I was replying to the other poster that said she was getting the same battery life as her 11! Come on guys, be kind, be nice or whatever the latest slogan is?!
My Apple store wasn’t allowing anyone in yesterday unless they had an appointment for collection or the Genius Bar.

I took the screen protector off, also I did have it in the box however when DPD come they take it out the box take a pic of the handset and put it into the reBuy box and packet so no point I got given the box back 😅
Should I just act dumb and let them remove it lol! I don’t want to take chances in transit. Also I’m leaving the case on it just in case!
