I got this one but there are other brands available. This one comes in two different length. It’s essentially a USB extension cable.

The 12 says £7.99 in the menu before ordering, the Pro states £9.99 but seems to charge £7.99 when it actually charges you and then states £7.99 in the email afterwards.
Finally Amazon has taken money from my account. Maybe I will get it tomorrow instead of Tuesday
I wonder if the £7.99 for the Pro is an error. If so, probably a good idea to get on board early before they correct it!
Amazon took my money last night I paid for premium delivery said was happening today and it didn’t I rang them and they said the currier asnt come to pick up the pallet my order was so they said I’ll get it tomorrow now and a refunding me my premium delivery money back .. so I’ve got tracking and dispatch notification couple hours ago so defo on for tomorrow......... I think haha
That’s the plan. Was planning to wait until after the 6th as it would line up better with other payments, but if the price is currently lower it makes sense to get in quick.
Mine isn't! I had a 11 pro max and normal usage today down to 20% already. Also not liking the camera as much.
The max phones have a significantly bigger battery than the currently launched 12 models.
You may find after a few power cycles that you can squeeze a little more runtime out of your 12 though.
You cannot judge a phones battery life when it’s only been out the box for a little over 24 hours at most.

This is true, my friend who was complaining about bad battery on the 12 pro told me a few hours ago that it has been better throughout the day today. I told him it will have been indexing things in the background and he will have been doing a lot of playing around with 5G and stuff as well.
Indexing to some degree but just mainly because of the fact it’s a shiny new phone and people will be spending more time on them seeing as they have just got them.
Constantly on and off with the screen, pointlessly scrolling, logging back into all their apps, playing the the camera etc etc. Stuff you would have done this time last year when the complained their 11 battery was worse than their XS.

That sounds like a great deal but I’ll stick with EE even though I’m paying more.
Has anyone been able to get their delivery date changed to a Saturday or a specific weekday? If it's not possible atm due to demand I might have to consider getting it delivered to a local pick-up point.
If you disable the eSIM does 5G work again? Unsure whether to activate my work sim because of this.
edit: bit of research suggests disabling the SIM re-enables 5G

Phone with much smaller battery in “doesn’t last as long” shocker.
I agree. It is quite slippery. It defo won’t be my forever case but it’ll do for the next few weeks.
I usually go through 2-3 cases before I find one I’m totally happy with and it seems this year is no different 😁
Had a mild panic attack yesterday was arranging a return of my iPhone pro to apple and it said it was not legible for return, turns out a quick refresh of the page sorted it out.
Phone feels crazy light compared to my S20U which is now sold, but absolutely loving the size and happy to report no yellow tint.
Getting used to a 60hz screen isn’t as jarring as I thought it would be and it’s helped that iOS is smoother overall I.e. it seems to not drop frames which my S20U did a lot.
Battery life on the first day was good got it all setup at around 12pm and was down to 20% battery at 11pm at night and this was with a lot of use and not even bothering to charge it up when I got it so will be good to see what today brings.
