On an unrelated note, I just went to look at buying a new MacBook (Air or Pro) and I'm shocked that even for the stock models there's a wait of minimum 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks through Apple.com. WTF.

I think lots of stuff on the website is coming from China, hence the delays.

I think those are the same ones everyone with an upgrade got including me. I know some people here got good deals here with 100 or 200 GB and 5G for £16-20 using discounts and loyalty. I went for that £28 unlimited data offer with a 20% discount code to bring it down to £22.40 and I’m going to try and get it down even further if I can with £5 off off loyalty. Otherwise I’ll stick to the £22.40.

not been far this weekend, and I'm not sure if the camera in the 12 Pro is that much different to the 11 Pro Max, but the whole phone seems a lot snappier & web pages are coming up v. quickly on 4G - very happy with it so far.

Anyone who did the barclays finance get it on launch day? Im thinking of getting the Pro Max but im intrigued how it works in terms of the pre-approval process?

I did Barclays finance, was all preapproved and ready to go, on launch day when the app opened it gave me the option to order from the for you tab. Which took me to a checkout page where once I was happy with the details, noticed I had the wrong address so changed this, I could complete the purchase. Was done by 13:02 and arrived on Friday

We walked into the Apple store Southampton today and bought one straight away through express checkout. Acts just like an Apple Watch charger! (I wonder where they got that idea!)

In terms of MagSafe, it’s going to be so much better on a weighted stand, means it will be easy to pick up the phone and allow for further distances. I’ll hopefully get a stand/third party MagSafe.
