I wouldn’t worry about it though they should still honour the quote as it’s not your fault you got the device to them within the 14 days
I contacted them this morning and asked about those requirements that they had sent me to provide and they said they ask all customers to provide if the value is higher than £500. You said they didn’t ask you so trying to fob me off!

I wouldn't claim for this scratch anyway, can barely see it but given my current record of 2 drops in 5 days I'll need it soon. 😂
I always drop my phone this is why the first thing that will be done when I get the phone set up, is to apply the damn screen protector. It's just unfortunate I'm clumsy lol

I wasn’t asked at all and got paid out £650 straight away

I've never dropped my phone's before, so this really is a unique situation for me!

Returned my original 12 Pro Graphite to Apple today as the screen was a bit warm and the phone somehow used 20% battery in one night despite WiFi/Data/Bluetooth and Background App Refresh being turned off.
Picked up a 12 Pro 128GB Pacific Blue and I'm glad I did. The colour is gorgeous and the screen is crisp white with pretty much no blue shift. Also another bonus is the new phone was only built 8 days ago whereas the first phone was built in early September.
Update: Overnight my new Pacific Blue 12 Pro used 3% battery even though iOS is probably still indexing so seems likely that my original Graphite phone may have had a dodgy battery.

If I drop my phone again and crack the screen then I will be able to use the AC+.
Long as it’s just screen damage then yes it’s a £25 replacement. However if any damage on the body of the phone it’s going to cost more under AppleCare plus , £79 I think.

Glass rear protector feels too slippery in the hand. Need to find a film/plastic one that’ll give more grip

Can I ask why you didn’t like the silver?

Of course, I didn’t like the white back (not had a white phone since the 4S) and I wasn’t keen on the silver bands. Did try and like it but I knew as soon as I took it out the box it wasn’t for me.

Will just tell them where to go and sell privately if I don’t receive proof of purchase from Three by lunch time!
The thing with selling privately it’s hassle. But completely up to you the price was good enough for me to pay the phone off so I’m done with that loan

Magsafe:

The lead is very short! I had two places in mind for it, Apple need to bring out a 2 meter version. Perhaps we could try and find a USB-C extension cable and test the charging speeds?

So my delayed o2 Magsafe order has turned up after one live chat asking why it’s acceptable to charge me for something they don’t have in stock.

Arrived inside an envelope with an Apple logo in the corner and a label that had been torn off the front, so perhaps they ordered 1 unit from Apple?

Anyone waiting for Magsafe accessories from O2 might be advised to get on that live chatb!

Did you also see the article showing the need for the 20w brick to get the full 15w wireless charge!

Going to wait for belkins effort

Yes, I saw that. So, to get the MagSafe charger to work at full capacity you need to buy the Apple 20w USBC charging plug. It makes it a very expensive way of charging your new iPhone. £58 no less!

This is reason 2 that I’m holding back.

Pretty damn unimportant in the scheme of things, but is anyone else struggling to choose a colour for their Pro Max? I've seen multiple unboxings + reviews on YouTube / Google of the 12 Pro but still can't make a bloody firm decision!

All 4 colours do look awesome this year.
I had it firmly nailed down to either Pacific Blue or Gold but the Graphite and Silver are amazing too. Need to see the Apple leather cases in Nov.

Following whinging about EE codes :), Vodafone called to offer £14 per month unlimited 5G. Guess it's capped & I've not actually got 5G in my home area yet but sounds a belter of a deal! I'm currently out of contract on £18 with unlimited 4G. Was gonna wait until Black Friday and hit up HDUK for network offers.

On an irrelevant side note, I flogged my Pixel 5 to a family member but my free Bose QC 35 ii's are arriving from Google this week! Will likely sell on to help fund towards the Pro Max cost.

Nothing like using Google to help pay for an Apple!

Vodafone for me won't go below £24pm for unlimited 5G max.
I've been with them for 6 years.
I think it's time to move on.
