It's 2 claims per year now, the monthly payments also keep going until Apple no longer supports the device. Which means you are now not limited to a maximum of 2 years coverage either.
I'm currently looking at a minimum of 2 years with my Pro, so the changes are very welcome here.
I take the 2 claims per year are monthly only or is that if you paid for the 2 year cover

Great thanks for that.

I have a 20w power adaptor so I guess that part is ticked off. I have a few vouchers to use that I got from work not sure if it is worth using it to purchase the MagSafe or just something else from John Lewis. Very confused here.

Give it a few months and there’ll be loads of 3rd party MFI options out

There are. I got this one as it seems to have reviewed pretty well. It works as it should.

So this adds another £10+ to the cost of using the MagSafe charger, making it just under £70? Ouch!

Are you happy that this extension doesn’t lead to any degradation or reduction in the charging power of the MagSafe?

Is the monthly not slightly cheaper? £7.99x24 works out slightly less than the one-off £200. Also makes it more straightforward if you upgrade next year, no need to claim unused AC+ back.
I'm not sure if £7.99 is right, my phone currently says £9.99 but I haven't got my 12 Pro Max cos pre orders aren't open yet so I can't say if it'll be that price for sure. Fingers crossed it will be though.

I really struggle to get anything out of EE. I have been with them for four years on a Sim only contract plus an LTE plan for my watch and Apple Music. I buy my phones and watches outright from Apple. But whenever I talk to them about customer loyalty they say they have nothing to offer
Yeah to get anything the best to hope for is a perk code to get money off

Think it's 8.99 for 12 pro and 9.99 for or max I believe

Have you tried the put me through to cancellations and asking for a PAC code

forgot how annoying all the finance apps are with new devices such a ball ache all done except revolut and starling they want me to record a video will do that later this evening.

I can live with 9.99 per month, gives me peace of mind.
It says it’s £9.99 for the 12 Pro but after signing up it turns out to be £7.99. That’s confirmed by both an email and the fact that they take the first payment almost immediately.

I guess it could be more for the Max though.

I do hope it'll be 7.99 but we shall see I guess.

Would the brick for the iPad Pro suffice for MagSafe?
though it is 18W
Hi there, it will work but I’m not not at the full 15W... needs the bigger 20W or more sadly. Whether this is a bug remains to be seen, but it’s been reported on elsewhere that you need the new brick.

I will try it with my 29W adapter in comparison and inform if there is a difference that end!

....I wouldn't hold your breath - other than the initial 20% discount code which I got from them (codes were flying about in this thread last week), for loyalty they would only offer me £1 off (after multiple attempts by me) !!!!!!!

Kumquat for anyone who’s interested!

That looks very bright for me. I'm leaning towards plum and red silicone cases - kumquat isn't to my taste. Does it feel different to previous apple silicone cases?
